I've been wondering if the Kingdom building rules and Mass Combat Rules from Kingmaker AP will be reprinted in later book or should I run out and snatch up the Kingmaker AP before they disappear. I'm interested in the concept outlined in Kingmaker just not specific setting and story outlined within KM from what I know about it.

I'd grab then while you can, just in case.
Personally, I would like to see both articles expanded upon. I have players asking how the city building rules would work in a dwarven [underground] settlement, where 'buildings' might be excavated from rock.
The rules provided are great for Kingmaker, but limited in other applications. I'm sure this is due to space considerations, and why use valuable space in the AP to cover situations that will probably not arise in the course of that adventure?
If Paizo were to enhance and expand the kingdom building and city building rules to cover other kinds of terrain and sensibilities, I would be interested in such a product. Possible ideas: elven forest settlements, underwater [aboleth] cities, dwarven tunnel towns, or the cloud-top settlements of storm giants.
I'm not expecting Paizo to make any such product, but I can hope.

I'd also suggest Adamanant Entertainment's Warpath as an alternative. Both are good systems, Warpath is a bit more expansive.

Scheduled currently for Gen Con 2011 (August). Other than having options and archetypes for martial based classes (and others), not much information has been released.
So at least a year, if it's released on schedule. I don't know if the system will be the same. And it's likely to be more fleshed out - which can be a bad thing if you want a simple system. I'd suggest picking it up now.
You can hear the announcement embedded in Chronicles: the Pathfinder Podcast, episode 5, about a quarter of the way from the end. Edit: If you only want to hear about Ultimate Combat, start listening at 2:34:00

I would love to revisit and expand the kingdom building rules for Kingmaker in the context of a larger project. But such a project is not on the schedule for this year, next year, and probably not for 2012 either. It'll be a long time before we revisit these rules, in other words.
For mass combat, we're HOPING to get some mass combat rules into next year's Gen Con release: "Ultimate Combat." But that book is still being outlined, and there's a significant chance we won't have room or whatever to tackle mass combat expansion rules in that book's context.
In any case, we're not in any current danger of selling out of any volumes of Kingmaker.

That's Good to hear because I just paid $68 for a print copy of Burnt Offerings and that was lower priced copy. Ouch. Based on the all of the above I think I'll go snatch up KINGMAKER. Thanks Guys.

I don't currently have any of the Kingmaker books because I am going to be playing in this, but I'm really intigued bythe kingdom building rules. Are these rules completely contained in one book of this AP (and if so, which one?) or are they at all spread out across the antire 6 books?
Thanks!!!

The Kingdom building rules are in book 2, the mass combat rules are in book 5.

Excellent!
I'm in the same boat, I might be playing this instead of running it, but I definately want to check out those rules.
