I have to go now and convince the local store owner to get the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Advanced Player's Guide.

But I'll be back.

Thats pretty sad that a FLGS owner needs tobe CONVINCED to carry such a fine product. Sounds a lot like the loser that owns the only gaming store in these parts. If its not 4E he won't carry it.

The guy stocks both Paizo and 4E products, but he really does not know anything about role playing games. He is a MagicTM man.

Is it an actual Gaming Store? Or is it a Comic/Book/Hobby Shop?

The store is called "Comic World", so I should be glad that he has any gaming books at all.

On the other hand, he does want me to spend my money there.

Explain to him that Pathfinder just took the gold at GenCon for best game of the year:

http://paizo.com/paizo/blog/v5748dyo5lbcf

It also won best product and best publisher.

Encourage him to stock the main Pathfinder game line: Pathfinder Core Rulebook, Bestiary, Game Mastery Guide, Advanced Players Guide and the Game Masters Screen. He might also want to carry the campaign setting book and a few eye-catching accessories, particularly the various adventure path dice sets (since dice collectors always like those even if they don't play the game) and the Harrow card deck which is of interest even to non-gamers.

If that stock moves well, he'll probably look into selling other products.

If he carries board games, Kill Doctor Lucky will likely be a good seller as well.

Maybe what I should do is run a Pathfinder game to drum up interest. Which adventure path would you recommend?

Kingmaker.

Or Rise of the RuneLords if you don't mind converting 3.5 to Pathfinder.

I thought CheapAss Games weren't in production anymore but if I'm wrong then Kill Doctor Lucky is awesome and everyone should stock it.
