Can any of the iPad users please let me know which app they are using to view the PDF.
I have just purchased the core rule book and when I view it using good reader ALL headings and sub headings are a garbled mush (it starts off with missing As but gets progressively worse as you go along).
As things stand the PDF is unusable.
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Speedwise I have no issues.
Unfortunately they all do that as of right now. I use good reader and the iBooks. Currently I prefer the iBook PDF reader. (Transfer it to good reader and tap on it once and it well ask "open in iBooks or good reader" just tap iBooks and it will now be in it.).
My reason is you have an option to have the pages in "thumbnail" version that you can see them all side by side nine pages at a time. Or fast scrolling on the bottom. Plus it's search seems faster than good reader.
The core rule book seems the worse on the dropped "a's". Perhaps it's just a larger book so seems worse.
And as mentioned it also does it on the Mac computers so definitely a Apple issue.
As a side note my two brother in laws just purchased ipads. Not apple people at al. They just saw the ease of use I guess, I had with the product.
