Spoiler:
I went through a similar episode with my ex-wife. We know where that went.

Was going through that with the lil lady when the job market was up in the air and she has a large family base in Cincy, but once she got that full time job secured a couple weeks ago, that entire conversation ceased.

But don't tell her what you think of Cincy; that's fightin' words. :P

I now have the B2 as well as the APG. I could have and should have spent it on other things. But it did help me participate on some things this year I was unable to last year. Not to mention take my wife out to eat.

So overall even complaining I should be saying work goes well. Or rather people seem to like talking to me on the phone most of the time.

Kids are both spending the night at friends houses, yet I will be home with a sick wife and unable to do much after work then watch more blasted TV. I think I might turn it off for a month, that and the computer, just for a break. It isn't like I can not watch some TV at work let alone have internet access all day long anyway.

Don't judge him, it's a proven fact that people who dine on steak are 54.7% juicier than vegetarians. That and they tend to put out more often.

two angels that feel this way and are attempting to curry favor with their lord by ending the world a few months ahead of schedule.
Do they find themselves against two stoners, one incredibly stupid the other wont say a gorram word?

Yesterday, on the other hand...

Why are groceries so f%#~ing expensive?
Because if you didn't buy them you'd.... y'know.... starve and stuff.

I guess. I've finally gotten fed up with my body going to s&#*, and, along with signing up for Kenpo Karate classes, I bought a microwave in which I could actually cook things.

Unfortunately, buying non-s&#*ty frozen food, miscellaneous ingredients, tea, and packets of vacuum-sealed fish has DOUBLED my weekly grocery bill.

Excellent style, that was one of the styles I was interested in, but never got a chance to study.
I know exactly nothing about martial arts of any kind, but have always been somewhat interested in learning one. And for me, the classes offered by the university are pretty much the only game in town.
Well it became fairly famous as the form used by "actor" Steven Segal. I studied Shotokan Karate, Jeet Kun Do, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Wrestling from the age of twelve up until I met Solnes who is a pacifist and stopped Fighting at the age of twenty-three.
Martial arts are not all about fighting. But rather being prepared if you have no choice but to fight. Plus there are many forms which do nothing more then keep you in shape. Lord I need to practice again. Oh but to have a blade in my hands.

Unfortunate that you gave it up, Moorluck, but a big +1 to what CJ said. Maybe we can all get together and do some Tai Chi/Old Man Kung Fu someday.

Nice, Jeremy. What restaurant?

Fighting is in my nature, it's the way I was raised. That said, I worked very hard to go against my nature when I found someone who meant more to me than being in a ring, which was a helluva thrill.

I miss using the swords, but I wasn't much good with most other "martial arts weapons."

I have my beloved shikomi-zue, and a pair of what I believe to be rude-looking full-tang straight ninja-to style swords. I need to get a higher quality shikomi-zue, as my current one is kind of falling apart and is a bit long for me. Hopefully I'll be able to pick one up from a con, but one outside of NY- the guy that I prefer to go to for such things got hosed over by our knife laws. I also need to get a jian/gentleman's/scholar's sword, and a ba gua dao, as I wish to start studying both weapons. The jian will help me find focus and inner peace, the dao will help me strengthen my upper body.
