Nah, it' in a more upscale neighborhood. Also, it's Thai, not Korean.

LYNORA:
Yay!

mmmmmm, Thai. I am finding out I am really starting to enjoy multiple styles of curry. Need to try more Thai food.

Spoiler:
I once went into a house for a German Roach infestation, and the house was so friggin nasty. There were so many used nasty tampons under the bathroom sink, yes, UNDER THE SINK, that they had congealed into a black gooey mass that had to be shoveled out to get the massive nest of roaches that were feeding on it....

....should I go on?

That's pretty high up there on the grossness scale. I freak out and go on a cleaning spree if I see just one ant in my place. Had some gamers bring roaches over to my place in their backpack once . . . . . uuuuuuuuuuuurg.

I try to understand that roaches in Texas are going to be much more common than in rural west Michigan and take them in stride. But...well...still trying.

As a born Texan, I can say I've never gotten used to them. You just get better at hatin and killin Em. I don't think the evolution of cowboy boots are unrelated.

I would have to second Sebastian's undying hatred for this movie. I would rank it near my top ten all time worst movies.

The Happening
Highlander 2
Epic Movie
Battlefield Earth
Batman and Robin
Fifth Element
Dungeons and Dragons the movie
Dick Tracy
Howard the Duck
Kazaam

A more appropriate list in my opinion:

The Happening
Highlander: The Source
Epic Movie
Battlefield Earth
Batman and Robin
The Room
Dungeons and Dragons
Mazes and Monsters
Baby's Day Out
Howard the Duck

Today was decent. After three years of never getting around to it, I signed up for a martial arts class, and today was the first session. It felt good, but it was readily apparent that I was the worst person in the beginners' group.

Yesterday, on the other hand...

The following is NSFW:

Spoiler:
The Most Awkward Conversation Of My Life
by Dave Mallon

On Wednesdays, I have one class: a two-hour, zero-credit required lecture for illustration and graphic design students. During this class, guest lecturers get to come in and promote their s!*@. Yesterday's was pretty cool--Steven Cerio, but that's another story.

In any case, at the beginning of class, I was talking to a girl I'd known for a few months. I had known "C" to be flaky and somewhat squirrely, but generally a nice, intelligent, and interesting person. Little did I know that she had many hidden layers of neurotic and crazy.

"C" begins talking about art, but begins steering the conversation in odd directions. For example:

"You see that guy over there? You know him? He's cool. You should hang out."

"Hey, you want an Adderall? I just got my prescription in."

And then, finally:

"You know, I think I can talk to you about anything." *WARNING BELLS*

The next few minutes were taken up with a bizarre, uncomfortable, sex-focused monologue capped by the weirdest stupid question I've ever heard:

"Can you buy anal lube at Wal-Mart?"

This is where my idiot brain put two and two together.

Me: "OK, before you go any further, I'm not gay."
'C': A short, awkward pause, and then "Oh, of course, I, uh, knew that, ha ha, you don't look gay."
Me: "You sure about that?"
'C': More awkward silence.

I haven't seen her since then. Maybe I was a dick, I don't know or care, but that's just not what you talk about with a casual acquaintance in the MIDDLE OF A CROWDED LECTURE HALL.

Ok, so in preparation of Arden maybe feeling better this morning and wanting to go to school last night I went ahead and printed out 100 leaves. Then, with the help of one of my employees and her husband we colored said leaves. After I got home I cut all 100 leaves out. I was finally done at 2am. This morning she says she is def feeling better and she wants to go, so we proceed, at 6:30am, to draw a tree trunk and tape all 100 leaves to make a tree. For 100 days of school she has a tree with 100 leaves. Damn I am good! Tired, but good!
