Funny. That's me everyday!50 hours was my limit, but, by then, I was hearing phantom voices and seeing things out of the corner of my eye.Going on hour 30 with no sleep. Well, except for the 20-minute stretch in the middle of my lecture class that was brutally cut short by a glass bottle to the head. I ffeel like I have bugs crawling under my skin.Wait til about 84 -96 hour mark without sleep then you start to have hallucinations sometimes it's so awesome!!!!!

Also, the guests we had for dinner last night liked the leek and potato soup and the pasta primavera with white wine and butter sauce.

Back from Florida. Well, I was back Monday but I have been doing the migraine dance since then.
I felt so much better while in Florida. If it wasn't for all the damn sunlight I would probably like it there.
My sign is "the vine"? What the heck?So, there I was, surfing the internet, minding my own business and ignoring my job for a few minutes. I StumbleUpon'd an article talking about 10 little known facts about Harry Potter. One of the facts was that each of the main character's wands were based on their Tree sign from the Celtic Zodiac. So, being I had nothing pressing to do, I went and checked a Celtic Zodiac site.
And discovered that my tree sign for March 14th is Ash. I've been playing this character for almost 15 years and this is the weirdest thing to me, that I'd name him this without any foreknowledge of the significance...

The good news is that I found out I am eligible for unemployment, it's not much but it will help out while I look for work/wait for school to start. On a related tangent, I told Shiny this, but I was talking to a friend of mine and he is willing to let me apprentice tattooing under his mentor-ship(had to think of something that didn't sound dirty around this crowd) for free. I am seriously thinking of taking him up on his offer. I need a hobby.

Thank you. Despite the objections from my body, I am happy to be back. While I had a good time our trip wasn't a vacation, unfortunately.
I did have the best meal I have had in a long, long time. I discovered I enjoy escargot. Then there was the salad with imported Roquefort dressing, blue crab soup, a delicious seafood casserole made with shrimp, crab, scallops swimming in an amazing cream sauce, and a dessert of hard baked meringue covered in ice cream and caramel. It was decadent.
If anyone ever goes to Vero Beach, I highly suggest taking a trip to the Ocean Grill . The website isn't much to look at but the food is fantastic.

Very true. Before that dinner I also discovered the wonder of Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and the joy of Lemon Ricotta Pancakes.
