Very cool. This is good to hear.

Its fine if you did and have not had a chance to look at it or it disgusted you so much you can't stomach it enough to read it again.

That happens to me sometimes.

In all seriousness, I just wanted to make sure I sent it to the right email.

Gah! I meant to say something to you earlier. I did get it, and I will be looking through it this weekend. Suffice it to say, I'm still interested in working with you.

Sounds good. Just wanted to make sure I didn't mistype something. I suppose I could have emailed but then we couldn't have had this wonderfully vague conversation in the thread. ;)

No.

The Hobbit
The Return of the King

Bakshi also did The Lord of the Rings.

The problem is that The Lord of the Rings does the first book and a half and then The Return of the King does the last book -- so there is a gap if you try and view them together.

The Hobbit and The Return of the King were actually rather well done -- but they were definitely for children (and made for tv). They took Tolkien's "songs" and actually made them into songs. Some better than others. The Lord of the Rings was actually made as (I believe) a series of shorts that were meant to be shown before movies in theaters.

If you haven't seen them, you really should -- just don't expect much as an adult.
