Hand cramps, badger! :)
Solnes, I've always thought that 75% of hangover symptoms were fatigue and low blood sugar. I feel pretty hung over after a dry all-nighter.
Mr. Shiny, hang in there. It really sucks when you can't even turn to music for solace. I hate places that reserve all the music facilities for majors only - one uni let us peons in the organizations, but we weren't allowed to audition for seats. To the bottom of the section with us! As for people who start acting like bigwigs when they get a little power, there's a special level of hell reserved for them. Not a terrible one, just a tremendously irritating place.
Sharoth! Look behind you! A halfling is sneaking up on your hoard!
Oh Mairkurion, I never expected to see you mud wrestling.
LPM, hope things go better for you Monday. Good luck.
~turns around real quick~ Where? Where? I half expected that!

My current theory is that my mother, father, and aunt are all operating under the "oh god our kids are turning into our parents" mindset, and want it to stop.
That Python sketch sounds painfully familiar.
It sounds familiar to me, and not only because of Graham trying to do a Yorkshire accent.

Gaming day yesterday.
I made fresh Banana Bread (no nuts) and some Bailey's butter frosting for a bread spread. Mmmm... delicious.
On a side note, Bailey's butter frosting is delicious on Guinness cupcakes, Oreo cookies and even just eating with a spoon.
Of course, now I can't drive. But I wasn't going anywhere anyway...
Recipe:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2-3 cups confectioner's sugar
3-4 Tablespoons Bailey's Irish Cream liqueur
1) Whip butter until light and fluffy.
2) Add CS until it starts clumping up.
3) Add Bailey's until it gets to a frosting consistency.

The Crimson Jester, Rogue Lord wrote:hand cramps allHappy hand cramps to you, CJ! How's the world going? Are you the guy who sent like 15 hours of thunderstorms our way? I bet the meteorologist who removed rain from this weekend's forecast is feeling pretty dopey right now.
The world is going great.
Church was unique today though, Catholic Mass is stereotypically dull and listless, at least so I have been told. Well I go in today and we have a Jazz ensemble with the choir. It was different.
I did not send any thunderstorms your way. I am however glad that I did not get anymore tornadoes nor any more of those massive hail stones. The roof can only hold out so well.

I'm hoping I can get the benefit of some good vibes from you good folks.
Tomorrow morning, my ship will receive a visit from the Board of Inspection and Survey, which has been charged by Congress since 1882 to "ensure that the ships of the United States Navy are properly equipped for prompt, reliable, sustained mission readiness at sea."
These visits take place every 5 years. INSURV, as we call it, lasts 3 or more days and is the biggest inspection a ship gets.
My department has worked very hard for the past several months to get ready and I think we are. At this point, I just need my equipment to work during the underway demonstration. Being that my equipment consists of highly technical combat systems, communications gear, and computers, I am all too aware that things can go wrong, even if my people are doing things right.
So, any positive vibes you can spare for my ship and crew would be greatly appreciated. If this goes well, life will get much easier for the rest of the year. If not...well, I don't want to think about that...
As always, I hope everyone is doing well.
Cheers!
Paris

11, you say? Maybe there's feedback.
Or I could build you some that go up to 12. For a modest fee.
