I'm waffling (haha get it?) between pizza and chinese take out. :/

Hmmm, do both. I once had cheesebugers, Japanese, and pizza for dinner. It was heavenly.

I actually really wish pmg had been around when I fell cause I was all alone and had to limp all the way back down the street to where I had parked the car.

Also, I am super glad the car is an automatic because there is no way I could have shifted.

Also, I am not to pleased about the whole living on the third floor with no elevator thing.

Freehold DM wrote:

What a day it's been. Had to go out this friday(today) as I do every other friday to pick up supplies for our snack bar. However, the city has made some changes in our snack food standards(cue BT The Goverment is Evil/Slowly Taking Over Rant), and so we are no longer allowed to stock candy bars, chips and the like. Naturally the store that has the healthy stuff is a bit of a ways away from here, so I had to use the work van. I completely forgot that we had a week of snow and ice- I had to chisel the van out of several days worth of only partially melted frost. It actually took me the better part of 45 minutes as after I freed the van I had to work it back and forth to get it off the wedge of snow that had gathered underneath it. So I drive across town to get newer super healthy snacks, only to discover that Brooklynites are still parking their vehicles at 45 degree angles due to the snow- what was once multi-lane streets are now turned into one lane and even alternating traffic flow streets. But I make it to the BJs across town and get the healthy stuff. However, this is a NEW BJ's, so I have no idea what the floor layout is like- I get lost once or twice trying to find my way out whilst pushing a cart full of stuff that's healthy, so naturally it weighs TWICE what a normal cart would. After navigating my way out, I make my way to the car and drive back to my office just in time to catch the lovely school children making their way home for the weekend. So naturally, traffic is moving at a crawl on streets that should have more than 1.5 lanes(in some cases, just .5 lanes) on either side. I park in front of our lift, throw on the hazard lights and hoof what feels like tons of stuff upstairs, then go back downstairs to park the van in what looks to be a partially demolished igloo of a parking spot. Now I've got to ride my bike home through this traffic, making several stops along the way to see to end-of-the-week business.

Despite all of this, I still LOVE WINTER!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

I don't think I'm allowed to rant about the government on this thread.

Would it be tacky to say I warned you about the governments evil plan? ;)

Stay safe in the snow!

My dear Jess, I would never order a pie, I have made it myself, but it is quite large, and another woman could easily fill herself with what I have.

The Shakespeare ones are hilarious, especially Hamlet/Ophelia.

Having played Hamlet, I have to say that might be my favorite. Especially since we played up the idea that maybe Hamlet and Horatio knew each other fairly well.
