I sure hope you're actually typing those out instead of just copy-pasting. That would be cheating.

Should we let him know that he's misspelled it -- quite a number of times in a row?

That's how you know it's authentic!

Spent 15 minutes looking up pictures to go along with this and then the page broke on me!

David Bowie + The Beatles = Kiss
David Bowie + The Rolling Stones = The Misfits
David Bowie + Madonna = Lady Gaga

Johnny Cash + The Beatles = Led Zeppelin
Johnny Cash + The Rolling Stones = Lynyrd Skynyrd
Johnny Cash + Madonna = Tori Amos

Elvis Presley + The Beatles = Jackson 5
Elvis Presley + The Rolling Stones = Metallica
Elvis Presley + Madonna = Britney Spears

I dunno... I hear a lot of Elvis influence in the Misfits, and less Bowie.

By the way, Johnny Cash + The Rolling Stones also equals Social Distortion.

What's truly disturbing is how accurate this is. Now I'm gonna have to go back and listen to some Rolling Stones and Johnny Cash and some Lynyrd Skynyrd and see if I get the refrence.

In other news, I can't stand the Beatles and only barely tolerate Elvis.

I find that there's generally three types of people:

Those that love The Beatles and hate the Stones.
Those that love the Stones and hate The Beatles.
U2 fans.

(by the way: The Beatles + The Rolling Stones = U2)

What if I like some Beatles, not as the boy band but rather as the adult rock group they became before that freaky looking crazy woman messed with Lennon's head and broke up the group. Along with maybe a single Stones song. And yet can only stand a couple of U2 Songs and otherwise hate the group because the ego trip just annoys the hell out of me?

Just watched this weeks new scooby doo. Yes they are making new ones on cartoon network. No I do not watch regularly. My kids are too old to use that as an excuse and my youngest niece is not here. So anyway they had two episodes I recorded.

One with Kiss. Very funny. Paul Stanly played up the stereotype of the money hungry rock star very well.

The second was just a vampire stealing artwork episode. It was set up in a museum of Oddities. In the background of one of the hallways was a group of statues. They were all from the Cthulhu Mythos. Up to and including a statue barely visible of Cthulhu himself. I had to rewind it and take a second look.

Did you know they did/are going to have a crossover with the Batman: The Brave And The Bold? You know, like those specials they did back in the seventies? The ones that I watched on that channel with retro cartoons all the time?

Note to self: Watch this show at some point, for nostalgia if nothing else.

I can't watch Brave and the Bold. The childish cartoon setting reverts in my mind to images of Gleek or a couple of dumb kids and a dog. After seeing halfway adult series like BAS or The Batman, and spin offs. I just cant go retro on it.

So should we give a go to 20,000 posts?

A shame you can't watch a good show just because Super Friends was bad. Still, the point remains. A Scooby Doo show is doing crossovers! Hanna Barbera is doing good things with it's properties!

Had a very great anniversary. Nice uneventful day, took the wife out for breakfast, and fixed a kick ass dinner. Baby back ribs, baked sweet potato garlic bread, and a nice salad. I did eat too much though, but what can I say, we don't get to splurge like that often. And the best part is, today is the first day of the next nine years.

I love our anniversary, it always reminds me of just how lucky I am that I have Solnes in my life. You guys have no idea just how awesome she truly is.

Amen to that! (My 15th anniversery was last July and my only regret is not meeting her when we were younger.)

This Saturday, I get to look forward to 12 teenage girls being in the house because the skating rink screwed us over. :S

Wow. Looks like October is the month for FAWTLY weddings. My wife and I will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary this month. Unfortunately, I'll be out at sea on the actual day, but we'll celebrate when I get home.

Happy Anniversary to everyone! :D
