???

There is a thread about it. I guess it is in one of The Kingmaker Issues. I do not have nay of it, I have however read the excerpts of it. As well as SKR reasons. I can understand why he wrote it the way he did. I just do not agree. I felt also that the entire thing turned into a big petshop and yeah already too many puppies to kick around here.

Thank you, thank you. I took honors in Dissertation, Defense, and Aliases. Damn! Too late to change this alias!

My sister just has her proposal and dissertation left then we'll have a doctor in the family.

Interestingly our drinking/pool team currently has two Ph.Ds and five masters degrees on it.

We used to have a downtown game club, there were 3 guys who would come in and game with us. Play TITAN and a few other board games. One of the guys used to run the absolutely best game of James Bond 007 ever. They were rocket Scientist. Honest to goodness Rocket Scientists. They made most of the otherwise smart people there feel stupid. Play one game and play Chess without a Chess board at the same time, and knew your TITAN stacks better then you did. Scary smart.

So it`s official my research proposal accepted, and plans are made. I can actually start some preliminary work. However it looks like I will be TAing Neurology for a few years.

Yes it was. Hanging out with those guys made you have to step up to the plate, so to speak, smart wise. I have never seen such a subtle game before with any GM. And he did it with James Bond and made it fun. Not only that he put up with a bunch of punk kids and let us have fun too.

A meeting with a certain female co-worker? Yeah, I could see how that would be distracting. The wife is always wrecking my Great Thoughts with her distracting female presence and whatnot.

Not exactly. My proposal, is the study of genetic predisposition to psychological disorder, specifically clinical depression and schizophrenia. My research requires me to dissect some cadaver brains, and cadavers are very very expensive. And in these tough economic times I can TA the neurology class, dissect these brains for the student in the lab while I get my gland measurements, pictures, weights, and tissue samples while teaching he class. IT`s basically a win/win for the university.

Cadavers are expensive? But they're donated?!

EDIT: I guess processing and preservation and transportation, etc, all take their monetary toll, though.

RE-EDIT: It does sound like a great deal for everyone.

NOTE: Keep AZ away.
