Hey guys,
FYI...I'm still following along, just haven't had time or energy to string together a coherent post yet. I picked up the ConCrud at GenCon and I've also got my Serpent's Skull deadline looming this weekend and still have some writing to do. So, carry on without me a bit. I'll leap back in when I can come up for air again.
Also, big nod to FW. I wish you and your family well.

Thank you for your patience. I just returned from Florida after getting my mom and stepdad situated in their nursing home and getting their house packed up for storage/sale. Who would have thought that I'd be looking forward to returning to work just so I can have some free time.
My mother-in-law is recovering well from her stroke and has almost full mobility on her left side now.
Unfortunately that means that my weekends are going to be tied up, so don't expect to hear much from me from Fridays-Sundays. I will have my laptop with me so I can follow the action, I just won't be able to post much during that time.
Again I appreciate your patience while my family and I went through this difficult time. You all should be nominated for sainthood (or at least a cookie) for putting up with the long delay.
With that being said.
GAME ON!

Vanulf, good to hear from you. Moving the folks into a nursimg home is a tough time. Glad to hear your mother in law has recovered well. You never know with strokes. It sounds like your in-law had a bit of good luck.
I also saw you and Tanner made it into Wrath's game. He's a fine DM. I'm sure you'll have a great time there.

This is difficult because we worked so hard to get this Kingmaker off the ground but I have to cut down on the number of games I am in ... I am sure you will get a suitable replacement ... I hope your real life issues end well and good luck in the future chaps.
So Zennor will stay with the group until they reach Oleg's again. Or if you decide you wish to do this another way, let me know.
Cheers
This was pretty definite. While I'd love to have FW back playing Zennor, I think he's putting his family first.

What's with all the dwarf clerics running around? Seems like you cant fling a dead cat without hitting one.
Seriously though, I have a friend who has expressed an interest in playing in a PbP game, but he has never played before and is relatively inexperienced with Pathfinder in general. This would give him the opportunity to get his feet wet and we could shepherd him along. Hopefully he'll call me one way or the other tonight so we can get moving along. I'll DMPC Zennor for now until we get someone to replace him.

GM Wulfson |

My friend has agreed to play, he'll be running a Half-elf Druid. As soon as I can get him up to speed you'll meet him somewhere in the wilderness.

GM Wulfson |

With the introduction of the APG and all the new archetypes for the base classes I'm going to allow a mulligan. I'll allow anyone who wants to rework their character (without altering thier base class) to take advantage of the new options, to do so.
Please let me know what you plan on doing as soon as possible.

Testing... is this thing on?
Hello everyone, I'm Jack. I'm not sure if I know anyone else here or not, but I know the GM. Hi Mike! I'm new to Pathfinder, but have been playing 3.5 since it came out, and 2nd edition before that for a few years. I've never played-by-post either. So this is test run for me. Be gentle. LOL

Welcome aboard, Jack! Sounds like you've plenty of experience. The biggest difference between PbP and face to face gaming is the sllooowww pace. On the plus side you get to write a lot if you want to. Cool descriptions, inner dialogue, that sort of thing works very well. Silstaren will be glad to have another non-lawful PC in the party.
Vanulf, Silstaren is good as is. I'm on a continually delayed acquisition schedule. The APG is probably years from now.

Welcome, Jack!
@Vanulf - I don't foresee any APG adjustments for Arianna. Too many of the rogue archetypes sacrifice trapfinding, and I foresee that we'll need a magic trap finder for the party. So, I'm going to keep her as a basic rogue. None of the other archetypes are appealing or make sense with the direction I intend to take with her.

Actually the companion is a small cat like a cougar or mountain lion. It's in the background description.

While I'm sure the sometimes longer delays than face to face gaming will create a certain level of frustration, I'm sure the benefit will be far greater. The group I play face to face with regularly seems much more focused on hack and slash and sometimes it seems like the role playing is just perfunctory. It's like a necessary evil they have to do to get to kill the next group of bad guys. Not all of them, mind you. But enough that it rushes us through role playing fairly often. So I'm looking forward to this. ~Jack

My friend jack (Feraven) has had to bow out do to RL issues. does anyone have anyone else that might be interested in joining the group? If not do you want to continue with 5, or should I try to recruit someone new?

therealthom |

samerandomhero,
Vanulf started a recruitment thread . You might want to post there too in case he doesn't check this page before making a decision.

GM Wulfson |

Torolf, go ahead and stst Glimzig up and I'll drop him in when you're ready.

Enter, stage left!
In a subversion of the usual convention for rescuing the handsome gnome and his brave steed from danger, will the kobolds turn out to be innocent peasants merely defending their harvest, and the adventurers with the charter stoop to foul banditry for mere vegetables? Stay tuned to find out!
