I have never been to Paizocon before let alone any RPG convention. So I have a newbie question: I see that there are already some attendees signed up for the seminars. But I can't seem to find how I sign up. Is that option closed now? Will the remaining seats be filled up on a first come basis?

Event signup is closed, but the max attendance for these events are fairly large, so you should be able to take part in anything that still has space at the time they begin. PFS is generally the same, though sometimes specific events may fill up ahead of time. Individual games on the schedule or closed attendance workshops are likewise harder to get into without holding a seat ahead of time.
