Broccan is a rather simple fellow; not stupid, just a man who, until now, had accepted his lot in life - living, working, and dying a miner.
One lucky punch changed his luck, it seems. A bare-knuckle boxing match in the Feral Dog yielded a prize worth more than every days' pay combined for the past five years.
This is is chance for something more, something better. Hero-types come wandering through town all the time, spending their loot in the taverns and brothels, showing off their extravagent wealth.
Broccan wants that life, he is tired of working long, hard hours for little reward.

Sanstree was kidnapped as a child and forced to work for pirates. Escaped the pirates by swimming to shore with a dagger, a pouch and a gem worth (starting gold). Sans sold the gem in town, bought some gear and left the town moving away from the sea into the nearby mountains. During this time he first heard the call and became a druid. Sanstree is interested in both natural and arcane magic.
Sanstree recently returned to town looking to learn the wizards art where he met Broccan.

Sanstree is a 16 year old male human with light brown hair and green eyes, Sanstree has seen good and evil / law and chaos and has decided to dedicate himself to neutrality.
Well, there's one commonality that stands out. We both came from nothing into sudden wealth.
Perhaps we shared our common experiences over a drink in one of the taverns, and decided that by working together we could increase our chances of success. After all, those hero-types always travel in groups, don't they?

Name: Erine Wintyle

Background:
Erine Wintyle never knew another gnome when she was a child. She was sold to a green hag named Evalt as a baby, and lived most of her young life in a bog.
Evalt raised her well enough. She left Erine alone, fed her, and taught her the art of witchcraft. Erine was free to essentially do whatever she liked.
One day, while exploring, Erine found a tattered journal in a tree's knothole, cleverly hidden. It was Evalt's log.
Erine discovered the dreadful truth: She was being raised to be Evalt's weapon, when the hag made her grab for power. Once Evalt succeeded, she was to be dealt with.
Horrified, Erine attempted to escape, but was caught by the hag's wards. The hag found her, trapped, and realized that Erine knew her plans. She locked her in her closet, to dispose of later.
But there never was a later. A band of wandering adventurers, seeking to force Evalt to answer for some crime or another, attacked, and in the chaos the wards slipped. Erine managed to break out of the closet, and fled the swamp.
Erine is now heading to the town, wondering what her future is now that it has been irrevocably altered.
Appearance and Personality:
Unlike most gnomes, Erine Wintyle is really not a people person. She talks to herself and her goat frequently, but barely says a word to others. Often, in fact, she communicates through her goat (for instance, if somebody asked how she was, she would respond by saying to the goat, "He asks how I am doing, Goat, tell him I am doing fine")She is perfectly sane, though many might assume otherwise, and simply dislikes other people and has not bothered to learn their ways.
Her pale cyan hair is ragged and unkempt, and she generally wears a hood.
Her goat really is named Goat, because Evalt never saw much point in giving such a creature a real name. Despite this, Erine is very fond of Goat and takes excellent care of him.

Scars have often been seen as marks of bravery for the dignified warrior, not so were Garrons. Marked from birth Garrons "Scars" were the kind people stare at and laugh at. As he got older his mother and father "Suggested" he join the Monks of Irori assuring him that he would be happier there... away from public view.
A few years of discipline and hard work later...
Garron steps out into the world; An honorable but still ugly Monk. Trusting in his faith and his training that he could withstand the slings and arrows he was used to as a child.
MANY years of slings and arrows later...
Garron comes to understand the sick irony in becoming a Monk; Becoming "One with everything" is a lot easier when you're born as ugly as the world around you.

i just think it would be cool if occasionally i acted i bit more CN / CG then LN. and then at level two when i pick up rogue my alignment can shift accordingly.
