Background:
Scars have often been seen as marks of bravery for the dignified warrior, not so were Garrons. Marked from birth Garrons "Scars" were the kind people stare at and laugh at. As he got older his mother and father "Suggested" he join the Monks of Irori assuring him that he would be happier there... away from public view.
A few years of discipline and hard work later...
Garron steps out into the world; An honorable but still ugly Monk. Trusting in his faith and his training that he could withstand the slings and arrows he was used to as a child.
MANY years of slings and arrows later...
Garron comes to understand the sick irony in becoming a Monk; Being "One with everything" is a lot easier when you're born as ugly as the world around you.
