I didn't know she was on Firefly. Might actually have to give that show another chance.
She appears in a couple of the episodes as a reoccurring villian. The first of which, "Our Mrs. Reynolds", shows her in full seduction mode, and is both sexy and funny.
All kidding aside, ABC are hypocrites regardless of what excuses they're hiding behind. This dude does NOT abide.
EDIT: Ashley's size 16 is full-figured hawtness to me.

I was thinking the same thing. She's of a very similar build to one of my gamer grrl friends and it would never have crossed my mind to think of my similarly proportioned friend as "plus-sized".
Maybe mainstream media has too much invested in their skinny-chick propaganda to want women to realize that guys actually like curvy women.
As far as Christina Hendricks though, did anyone else think the following comment was ignorant and absurd?

When I read that, any thought that she might actually be cool (in addition to hot) pretty much went right out the window. Methinks that 1950s stuff has gotten a bit too lodged in her brain. So women can gossip and keep up with their friends, but if we guys do the same then we're creepy? Nice... >.>
