Esquire Magazine may not be a great bastion of feminism, but by stepping away from the ultra-thin models typically chosen and rightly naming the more shapely Christina Hendricks (Saffron to us Geeks), they may have actually done something good for all women.
Or am I just being silly? ;D

I've never understood the obsession with toothpick chicks. Not only is there nothing to look at or grab hold of, but you run the risk of bruisin yourself everytime you get freaky with em. Gimme a thick chick any day of the week.
EDIT: and yes i concur with their choice...off to my respective bunk.
Well said!
Wait, who is driving the ship!?

Yeah - REAL women, not walking clothes hangers. I never liked that cocaine-waif-look.
Yes, but before we go futher ...
There are lots of men who do prefer that look. ... and this is a Good Thing.
Perhaps, we can escape from this idea that any one body type is inherently sexier then any other?
Dress Size, Bust Measurement, Hair Color are not "Hawt."
"Hawtness" is "Hawt."
While being in good physical condition is necessary, sexiness is really more about attitude and style.

+1
I find many different types of bodies to be attractive, from a few even waif-like, to VERY full-bodied. It's not so much what type of body, but how the whole of the woman (her personality and brains included) and how her qualities interact that I find attractive, not just this or that.

Plenty of us around here. The problem is that when we meet hawt chicks the light tends to go off immediately thereafter. Hence the drooling....

Men have two brains, but only enough blood to run one of them at a time. ;D

A lot of hawt chicks don't have anything going on up there (yes, I know I'm stereotyping), and what little they do have they use to look down on the rest of the population who are "less fortunate" in the looks department, hence driving away decent guys who are tired of the attitude that tends to accompany the looks. That being said, when you find women that are hawt and have something going on upstairs and don't have an aloof personality, you tend to be skeptical...it's just a matter of overcoming that inherent skepticism (for guys)...and not letting the stereotype of the hawt chick intimidate your prey (for you hawt gals).

Sorry, I'm married.

Of course it is a matter of taste!
That is why "one size/color/style" of hawtness does not/should not work for/appeal to all men/women.

(Note that this was made for TV)
If she's "plus-sized," I'm Hulk f~+~ing Hogan. Why can't they just say "here's a beautiful woman who's not an anorexic skin sack of bones"?

... and SMOKING HAWT!!
This sir is the root of the problem.
We are all being fed a single ideal of feminine beauty, mostly by advertisers.
