Virgil dismounts and continues on foot, staying a respectable distance behind the skilled woodsmen.
Zennor packs the special bolt away when no one responds. He rides Mabe wherever asked, all dressed in armour and with his shield at the ready, the dwarf keeps his head on the way forward.
If there are no horses to spare Arianna will ride double with someone, if no one objects.
Either way Arianna will dismount and move 10' off the side of the trail,if possible.
She will then attempt to blend in with the overgrowth.
Stealth check:
As an aside, if a person attempts to hide and move silently do they have to make two stealth checks, or does one roll cover both?
Virgil is well aware of his lack of subtlety in his armor. He draws his crossbow and stands still to avoid making noise.
Zennor dismounts after Virgil. He pulls Mabe along with his free hand until he is level with the holy warrior.
"Give me your horse's reins and you can fight then."
Cale will, of course, offer to allow Arianna to ride double with him, describing at length his skills as a horseman. Once the party approaches the spider lair, Cale will go in any order that is suggested. "Virgil, I bow to your advice in this. You've faced these things before. Let's have swords and shields at the ready at all times."
Cale doesn't attempt any pretense of stealth, but tries to keep a wary eye out, his aldori dueling blade held ready. More than anything, he hopes no one can see the quiver of the blade, or hear his heart hammering in his chest through the chain shirt he wears. His imagination is running rampant at the possibilities of the effects of the spider's venom.
"Take it easy, my lord. You're not my type. I would prefer to ride with one of the others."

This is still Virgil, BTW. I'm changing him up for the restart.
OK, so far I've heard from Zennor, Silstaren, and Virgil. If I dont hear from Cale and Garyn by Friday I'm going to have to replace them as well, to get things moving again.
I don't WANT to do it, but I'm going to HAVE to do it.
Garyn, you still out there? If you're still interested in playing this campaign let me know by tommorrow otherwise i'm going to have to replace you to get things moving again.
