Use my second wind and regain 7hp, still bloodied but not a bad.

use my AP and mark and attack the dolgrim with slash and pummel.
Attack vs ac, 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17, damage = 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
if hit second attack is Attack vs ac, 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17, damage = 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

The dolgrim barely manages to dodge the blows, ducking away from the warforged. Meanwhile, the kuthrik continue to scratch at Boxer's metal shell.

Missed it by that much. Also, two damage to Boxer from the kuthrik's Gnashing Hoard ability.

Amyrielle sighs. "No, veto my idea of built in fire jets. Foolish men." She back off, then gets to work bolstering her guard with mystical energies. First, her powers seem to mend his structure.

Shift to I12. Curative Admixture on Boxer as a minor action - this should draw on OA from the Kruthik in H13. Boxer heals a surge+2 points, and does not spend a surge.

Next, she aims her wand at him, and crackling lightning dances over his form. It seems to make a shield all over the warforged, and one bolt of energy zaps out at a foe.

Standard: Thundering Armor, targeting Boxer. He gains +1 to AC until the end of my next turn. And, I get to make an attack one one crature adjacent to him - which will be the Kruthik in G11, targeting Fort. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20. On hit: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 thunder damage and push it to G10. Even on a miss he gains the armor.

The kuthrik manages to wound the artificer as she leaves herself open to weave her enchantments.

Did I miss the Kruthik? Map shows it in the same place, and if my attack hit, it should have been pushed, if it was still alive.

Gurdang chuckles at the ongoing conversation as he takes a swipe at the nearby kruthik. Word of Exchange (protection) vs. AC (includes CA): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 251d10 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 and the target takes a -2 penalty to all defenses until the end of your next turn, and the next ally to hit the target before the end of your next turn gains a +1 power bonus to AC. The bonus lasts until the end of your next turn.

Then he steps forward and strikes the ground with his hammer, sending a wave of divine flames over the kruthiks, and these new traveling companions. Shift to G15. Spend action point to use Flames of Purity (protection) vs. two kruthiks' AC: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 131d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 261d10 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 Boxer and Amyrielle regain 3 hp.

Grinning widely he traces a rune in the air that flashes blue as he draws it. The same rune appears on Amyrielle's armor. Rune of Mending on Amyrielle. She can spend a surge. Me and all of my allies gain a +1 bonus to all defenses until the end of my next turn.

Soon, only a single kuthrik remains. One of the dolgrim attempts to hit Boxer while he is distracted by the hatchling's attack, while the other attacks the unprotected kalashtar.

Dolgrim 2 moves to G11 and attacks Boxer with CA, then shifts to G10 and reloads it's crossbow. D1 fires a crossbow bolt(with cover from the tree) and reloads, then moves and attacks Khashana.

Right. Even with the hits since the last heal, you're only at 11HP. One healing surge and you're unbloodied. Really, you just had a horrible first round.

Amyrielle doesn't know that Khashana can't be seen by the dolgrim, so she points her wand at the creature and fires a beam of black energy at it. Should the beam hit, some of the creatures own life force will loop into Khashana.

Drain Speed on D1, targets AC. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14. On hit: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 necrotic damage and it is slowed until the EOMNT. In addition, Khashana gains +2 speed until EOMNT and 5 temp hp.

The dolgrim manages to dodge out of the way.

That's more like it. 25 damage to the dolgrim.

Gabrielle ignores Khashana's plea for pity and stabs hard at a vulnerable spot.

All depends on the dolgrim not killing her before she can deliver that charming blow.

Given everying Drain Speed does - damage and a slow to the baddie, plus a one turn speed boost and 5 temp hp to an ally within 5 of the baddie, targeting AC seems reasonable to me. For a level 1 encounter power, it does a lot.

The dolgrim attempts to beat Gabrielle before she can skewer his vital organs.

Then he turns and points his hammer in the direction of the dolgrim menacing Khashana. Designate D1 as my quarry.
Gurdang lowers his head and runs at the abomination, horns first. Charge to D17; Goring Charge vs. D1's AC: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 151d6 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 5 + (1) = 8

Alright everyone, I underestimated how much stuff I'd be doing this semester in college. This game is still on, the monster's actions are just going to happen slower. (Like, for instance, their actions this round.) I'll post their actions for this round tonight.

One of the dolgrim charges Gurdang, only to step back and reload his crossbow. The second swings wildly at Boxer before stepping back and firing another shot at him. The last of the kuthrik spawn lunges at Gurdang.

Gurdang moves closer to Khashana. Shift to F15.
Gurdang hastily marks a rune in the air before trying to pummel the dolgrim with his hammer. Word of Exchange (protection) vs. D1's AC: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 181d10 + 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (8) + (6) + 6 = 20 damage and the target takes a -2 to all defenses until the end of my next turn, and my next ally to hit the target gains a +1 power bonus to AC.

The dolgrim nearly crumples under the blow. It lunges at him in one last desperate attack before fleeing towards the forest. The last of the kuthrik spawn also charges mindlessly at Gurdand.
