You heard me right folks...

White Plume Mountain, the myth the legend,

Wave, Whelm and Blackrazor have gone missing...Now a crazed wizard is taunting the King...

Will you be the ones to reclaim them?

Grand Lodge

what level, and are you allowing playtest classes?

I'm in. Jonathan Trevor Trask, human paladin.

Will get my character up tomorrow (within the next 24 hours). What/where are the CharGen rules?

7th level 15 point buy. (I normally go with 25, but to keep the conversion down, I'll just lower the stats.)

Full 7th level gold, no more than 20% on any one item.

I'm all about playtests, and I'd like to see them in action.

Grand Lodge

oh I prefer to start at 1st and build up so I guess I will keep looking have fun and good luck

Well it's a classic adventure, I'm already running a couple campaigns, so I'm just going to run this as a 1-shot classic style adventure, pretty much RAW, with none of my normal house rules, though I will bring it to Golarion.

Huh, looks like we lost an interested party.

I am most definitely interested.

Brief character concept:
Sheridan Barlow (human Summoner) was a young noble who yearned for adventure, but was forced to remain at home due to family responsibilities. Now, decades later, he's the last one alive and he's decided to sell the family mansion and fulfill his youthful dreams.

I'll go work on a character profile now.

well with all the dragons in the room, I guess I'll have to be one too...

Would it be alright if my character had the Half-Celestial template?

I wouldn't mind trying one of the playtest classes...humm 15 point buy..rough

What do we have so far? paladin and summoner? Think I'll go elven witch

How do you do HP? Are you using traits?

Dark Archive

Alright, this is as much as I'm going to get done tonight. I still have to pick one feat, buy some non-magical equipment, and figure out languages. Plus backstory and description, for which it would be nice to know something of a background for the adventure, like where we are and if/how we all met.

Also, I echo seekerofshadowlight's sentiment and questions.

This is a base, am still working on it however. Also I would like to use a fox familiar..as there are no states for a fox could I use a weasles state?

Hmm .. I'd like to join ..

I'm toying with a Mystic Theurge .. One who has a spell for pretty much anything.

I can have him up and running today/tomorrow.

Liberty's Edge

Well,

I wish I had the time !

Do you think it would it be possible to have your conversion notes ?

Good games to all !

If there is room, I'm interested. I would go with base classes from pathfinder. Is there anymore background information on the campaign?

Pathfinder Adventure, Adventure Path Subscriber

Why do I always ending getting in late for these. Oh well, should you have anymore room, I'd be interested in playing. Got several ideas for characters, which allow a few different classes, so I'm not so worried about the class. Just let me know if there's room or not.

No half-celestial, (+4 to 3 stats really messes up the 15 pt buy.) You could take an Aasimar from the Bestiary

(Sorry it seems my post got eaten last night.)

Deevor, you're in,

Recruiting is closed except for alts.

Twin Agate - Paladin (Human? Aasimar?)
Far Wanderer - Human Summoner
Seekerofshadowslight - Elven Witch
TDLofCC - Mystic Theurge?
Lord_Viper_69
Deevor

OK No Mutations for you Pure Strain guy... ;) [Man I love Gamma World]

Select 2 traits.

Schweet ... thanks for letting me in.

I'm currently working on his spells ... he's got quite a few :P

Btw, I'm buying scrolls with spells, I hope that's alright.

When done, I should be able to buff just about anyone and handle all situations with SOME kind of magic :)

Rich Parents? For a 7th level character? K...

Also, it's not +900gp, it's 900gp starting gold, which would have taken place of the normal starting gold.

I'll have these, the Magical Knack class will be the Wizard.
If I'm correct, that would mean my Wizard level would be 9 instead of 7 ... right ?
Not that I get higher spells, but my caster level does affect the spells I DO know ... right ?

Focused Mind:
Your childhood was either dominated by lessons of some sort (be they musical or academic) or by a horrible home life that encouraged your ability to block out distractions to focus on the immediate task at hand. You gain a +2 trait bonus on concentration checks.

Magical Knack: You were raised, either wholly or in part, by a magical creature, either after it found you abandoned in the woods or because your parents often left you in the care of a magical minion. This constant
exposure to magic has made its mysteries easy for you to understand, even when you turn your mind to other devotions and tasks. Pick a class when you gain this trait—your caster level in that class gains a +2 trait bonus
as long as this bonus doesn’t increase your caster level higher than your current Hit Dice.

I'd choose another, at level 1 it's decent ... but for higher levels it's only a background-plot-hook-thingy.

Yeah, I'm mulling it over.

O Adopted (Aasimar - Celestial Resistance)
O Ease of Faith (Diplomacy is always as class skil, +1 trait bonus)

The caster level can't exceed your HD, it's mostly a Multi-class offset trait, so if you were a 5wiz/2ftr you would still be caster level 7.

Bolded the text in the trait description.

Good games to all !

Mostly I'll be using the 3.5edition from WotC's archives. Then I'll use PF Bestiary statblocks.

And convert any necessary poisons, hazards, etc.

No man. If your Build is cleric 3/ wizard 3/ Mystic Theurge 1 then you have a caster level of 4 and 4 your 4th level casters.

However Magical Knack allows you a +2 caster level( as long as it does not go over your HD which are 7] As for saves and such you count as a 6th level caster for wizard spells.

This does not give you more spells ( as your a 4th level wizard) but any thing that goes off caster level( range, damage, saves) you count as 6th level not the 4 you really are.

Thanks for clearing it up guys. I'll take it.

Very nice to have, and made for multiclassing casters I guess.

I've just finished his spell lists ... finally.

Now I just need to create an alias and a background.
How big of a story background do you want ?
And do you have some info we can use ?

OK, I've never tried an arcane archer before, so that sounds like something I could try. Either that or it'll be going down the Rogue route as we seem to be a party of magic men so far...I'll start to roll up and get something going on this...

Also how are we doing HP?

Are the traits limited to the standard one or will any do?

Also even if we are not using them I am gonna share this Every trait paizo published

Just so everyone knows, I'll be doing alot of buffing :)

And play the spontaneous healer. But that's a secondary role.

Unlikely ya could be one, ya need to be a first level caster and a BAB of +6 before you take it. So at level level 7 before you take it

I'm intrigued...any room for a straight-up fighter type?

I'm going to say this is a Pathfinder Society Run. So feel free to work that into your backgrounds.

Since it's an old-school dungeon, Pathfinder Society seems to fit well. And of course the King of (TBD) would contact the local Pathfinder Lodge to get the best Dungeon Delvers available.

Sorry - wrong thread ;-)

You're the first on the Alternate list sir. Go ahead and make a character, I have had plenty of drops in days past so you might be in already if someone doesn't finish.

Twin Agate - Human Paladin
Far Wanderer - Human Summoner
Seekerofshadowslight - Elven Witch
TDLofCC - Mystic Theurge?
Lord_Viper_69
Deevor - Rogue?
Alex Martin: fighter?

Seven characters, No fudges...heh.

In the spirit of it being Pathfinder Society, change the point build to 20.

Sorry for the updates you may have to do, but, well, it's five extra points heh.

Any magic items (maybe if stop off at Miracle Max's on the way)?

Yes, but no more than 20% on 1 item.
