Great Contest! Now Bring It Home...

RPG Superstar™ 2010 General Discussion

Legendary Games, Necromancer Games

This has been a great year. Really fun stuff from the contestants this year. Its clear that you, the community at large, are learning about item design as the first round open submission clearly had better overall quality. It has been a blast, as always, to be involved. It's been my pleasure to judge. But what is always the most fun is watching the community discuss, choose and the contestants grow.

So now its time to bring it on home.

Alexander, both Matts and Watcher, swing for the fences! Give it all you've got! Make it hard for us to pick a winner.

Because one of the four of you gets this thing!

Bring it!!!

[humour] Bwuahahahaha! Now I know exactly who to blame if we get four super-deluxe helpings of gonzo!... ;)

Spoiler:
(Wes of course, since he's the youngest judge in terms of superstar contests judged and therefore the default fall guy if it all goes horribly wrong. :D)
[/humour]
The problem here is that (unless there's a tie???) only one of you [contestants] in the top four can write this year's superstar module. So, visors down, get your squires to hand you your lances, and prepare to enter the lists for one last joust.

In previous rounds, if there had been a tie, we'd advance the tied contestants. For this round, there can be only one. Ties shall be satisfied with a wicked mad game of Parcheesi.

Y'know I've heard of Parcheesi, but never seen or played it myself.

And as Mole says "I'm so excited!"

Hmm. Ludo (the UK variant) can get quite tactical and bloodthirsty a game actually. Let's hope for a four way tie here... :)
