And off to the hearing test. Which I will EPIC FAIL! :P
I'm sorry. Did you say something?
;-)
Was this expected or a surprise? Anything they can do to help make it better?

Attractive is kind of a subjective quality. For example, I have a friend who objectively I know is physically attractive, but our personalities sometimes clash, so if asked I would say that she is not attractive. It hasn't got anything to do with how she looks and everything to do with how I perceive her.
Uh-huh. There's a whole slew of individuals that I'd give a tussle to, but please find yourself the door on the way out because once you've opened your mouth, you've lost me (Jessica Simpson would be a great example regardless of whether there is any credibility by hearing John Mayer calling her Sexual Napalm....because everytime I think of her, I just feel sorry for her ex-husband Nick Lachey for putting up with her and her dad).
As for bringing someone home to meet the family ... I think it's more about that special someone actually tolerating my eccentricies. :P

OR something like that. I have a friend who is unusually attractive, and I remember having this debate with him a few years back; maybe I'll call him up and see what he's experienced recently. It's tough being an attractive man. Chicks always want to buy you things, or get intimate. Dudes are always envious.
Sadly, I don't have that problem.

It's been like this since I was a wee little lad. It's nerve damage, so presently there is no medical remedy for it other than these hearing aids. They mentioned as I get older, I should have follow up every three years (two years ago was my last one).

It's so rewarding when something like this happens.
I guess it is obvious that you were noty as high on his priority list as he was on yours.
I find a lack of follow-up communications to be a really common part of doing business. When switching away from someone's service who is engaged in helping, it is proper to communicate that bit.
They severely fail at business courtesy.
Yeah, see, they did communicate it to someone in the company. I just found out when someone randomly walked by and said "you might have seen the e-mail, but..."
Did you receive the email and not read it or did someone forget to forward it to you?

I never received the e-mail--maybe someone forgot, who knows. I did just get it 5 minutes ago after I talked to the guy who received the e-mail and told me about it.

Yuk, sorry Taig. That suckith completely. I hope that things get easier tonight. Will you be working late again?
Yeah, they want me to have an answer for the site's claimed loss of money, or at least a "plan" to find the answer.
I'm still working away at some software changes, so I can at least say that I'm trying to make it work better. I suspect there was some kind of electrical problem or maybe a problem talking to these new units themselves, but I can't really prove it.
The b+$+# of this is that I asked TWO YEARS ago for a device in our lab, so I can test against it and make tweaks. Because it's a competitor's device, there's all this political BS but it still would have cost the company considerably less than the site is claiming they lost.
Ugh. I'm so sorry that I'm ranting about this again.

That's how I came home to find her. :/
Doesn't look like yours was much better. That makes three of us then. My last job went well untill my hose burst creating a chemical spill, then me having to repair the damn thing before I could finish the job. :/

I'd love that! I wonder if she'd be ok with me doing that after she gets me my dinner? ;)

*sigh* Headaches stronger today, but I was able to go out to lunch with my bud, and he bought, and I got in a nap. Seems like this thing is going to be up and down. Must relearn yoyo tricks to cope.
Reason #77 of why I miss my dog? We got a dang mouse in the house! My dog wouldn't put up with that crap! I swear she thought she was half cat.
Upside? The wife made chicken fajitas for dinner! Yumm!

No deal. Not even if she and her girlfriend give me BttH at the same time.

Pick up some glue boards, place a peice of good chocolate in the center, mice love chocolate.
Sorry about the headaches, but I help where I can. :/
