...and I got TOTP nineish minutes ago all by my lonesome catching up on 273'ish posts. I should go to sleep for a couple hours ... or what I'd like to call, a flash nap.

Hey all. I'm thinking of taking a little sabbatical from posting on the Paizo forum. I just wanted you folks in my extended virtual family to know. I wish you well with the upcoming Spring. Take care and I'll see you around at some point.

What about the Twinkie?

Hey. just got back from the movies with Mel. We went and saw The Bounty Hunter. It was OK, just your average RomCom.

Have fun all! :)

Moorluck, check your e-mail. I'll send another, no worries. :)
And I'll catch you tomorrow (Tuesday Night for you, around 9.30). :)

Don't you mean Flash's Regular Sleep? Let's see... I start at 4am, so that means that because it's now 11.30pm and I'll probably get up around 3am, I'll get about 3hrs again tonight. :)

Life rant -

Spoiler:
Well, the wife is still mad at me for 'always being so grumpy' - left for work without a goodbye. This, even after I explained that her allowing my son to practice Metal on his bass, my daughter and nephew playing Rock Band, and she and her sister talking loudly and quickly enough over said music was too much for my system and drove me to hide out in my bedroom. Nope, I'm the jerk and she vows to not complain because it bugs me. *sigh*

Then my 15 yo has gone FB/text crazy so her teenage drama crap continues every waking minute. I try to explain the value of 'unplugging' when things are like this, only to be met with Dire Wolverine claws. So, we're taking away the phone while she's at home to limit time on it.

So, like yesterday, I shall do the dishes left in a pile on the counter and tidy up around the house. And I shall unplug myself by hiding on the net, or maybe walking myself to the $1 movie.

Sorry, E7.

Try to not let it go to your head.

Um...yeah.

Sorry to hear of your madness, E7. I wish we had $1 theatres around my way, or if I lived closer to you, your ticket would be on me. If it's any consolation to you, my wife is a little miffed at me for me "making" her put away the laundry and prepare clothes for laundering last night. And this after I made spinach and cheese tortellini in a garlic alfredo sauce with a filet of salmon! Yeesh!

Good morning, folks.

I know a family in SC. Not gamers though.

You and Moorluck on FB? Friend me --> Bill Hendricks.

...and ninja'ed by the moff himself.

You guys are in SC? WOW! My dad is in Mt. Pleasant, and I have a good friend that I've never met(known her online for almost 10 years, tho) that lives in West Columbia.

Heh. I'm not sure how a tabletop game can be "cartoony"... What thread did that come up in?

I wouldn't say its cartoony, but more video-gamey.

Lunch at home bookmark.

E7, sorry it was crappy morning, hope the day improves. :/
Flash, you know you don't have to do that buddy, but thank you. :)

CH, Freehold and Mairk, you guys have a good one. Catch ya'll later after I get off work.

*peeks in*

See ya, ML.

Guys: it was in the cartoon request thread.

Silver Crusade

Why do I read threads that I know are going to be irritating?

I failed my will save.

I call "graphic novel" for Pathfinder.

Took up arms against a sea of troubles.

Stole my own car and drove to breakfast. MUAHAHAHA!

I even survived a visit by one of my sisters-in law. She brought me peach jam from Georgia.

Today WILL be a better day. Maybe even be able to handle a family dinner for Son #3's b-day. He's now 20.

Sounds like it was a good morning, then.

And maybe it's just because I'm hungry, but peach jam sounds delicious. My mother used to make it.

Well, I wish I was amongst the best of us. I failed another roll. D'oh.

Peach jam on toast sounds good.

Swing by for a visit and maybe I'll share. ;)

Bummer! Just found out that my potential trip to Italy has gone down the tubes. :(

Oh well, maybe some other time.

Dark Archive Bella Sara Charter Superscriber

Problems with your name being on the terrorist watchlist?

Because I don't know who would've called the FBI and suggested you be added.

Nope.

No idea.

Spoiler:

It was taig.

That sucks.

It'd be better if you came out here. More peace and quiet for recovery. At least, while my stepson is at school and work.

NO. I'll spend the rest of the week (at least) in a futile effort to erase from my memory the images his post conjurs.

Hey, does this mean you now have time/money to attend PaizoCon?

So that's why they pulled me into that little room last time.

Another reason I'm glad I'm not a zombie.

I wish, but this Italy thing would have been an end-of-April work trip, bought and paid for by taxpayer dollars. My personal financial roadblocks are still in existence.

My meeting about returning to the engineering/development team went about like I expected. She told me that there were 3 scenarios, and they were all "bad": I get to return to my old team and I will not be allowed to do any work with my current team and my current team would completely lose the position (I doubt it would be that extreme), someone will get fired from my old team to make room for me (again, extreme, but I wouldn't put it past this company), or I won't get to move at all. I did imply there was a 4th option. :)

She also told me that because she "fought" for me to get on the current team, it's going to look bad for her that I want to return to my old team. Oh, and, the situation on my old team is going to get way worse in the near future.

We'll see what happens. I'm supposed to meet with her boss to discuss it, before I try to meet with the director of engineering.

I was talking about the axe, not the shotgun. Goodness, people!

Got to get back to work. Take it easy folks.

Sorry for the way things are looking, Taig.

*sigh* This week is crap.

My partner just found out last night he didn't pass one of his New York State teaching certification exams (the subject area one) and may be completely screwed because of it. He knows the content a lot better than some of the people that passed, but he was horribly sick at the time, and who knows what that did to his concentration. The hoops they make people jump through in this state is really ridiculous.

Then he found out this morning he has a degenerative cornea condition. If it stays the way it is, he will simply have to live with the blurred vision in one eye, because he wouldn't qualify for surgery. If it gets worse, he will need a cornea transplant. Talk about two rosey scenarios...

Geez, CH. Very sorry.
