This is the third time in a week every street around me is under four feet of water. Wolfthulu can tell you that means I'm stuck out big time until the water recedes. I just got the car interior dry from Friday, when I had to drive through that crap just to get home with diapers and formula for Arwen.

And I'm kind of in a funk anyway, and no sun for any period of time makes it 1000X worse...

The rain in Maine goes plainly down the drain...

Dark Archive

You know people may make fun of newfoundland, but it never gets above 25c, or below -15c. So it's a nice happy medium all year long. Right now it's about 4 degrees below room temperature and it's cool and nice.

I have just been informed that I will be getting the little one in the shower.

No, not you. I've just been generally down here for a while. I just can't shake the mood I've been in.

LARPing can be good for this. You get to beat on people with a big stick. Very stress releaving. That is until the game hoggs show up and complain that when you do a perfectly reasonable thrust that they run into like an idiot.

"It hurts you swing too hard, less then a 45 % arc,"the 19 lass said.

I reply with "It is a thrust hunny, that was less then a 5% arc."
Can I help it I am a trained fencer and can fence better and 10 tiems faster then most of the players. LMAO I once held out against 5 NPC's playing Orcs for 10 minutes, a judge couldn't believe I was still up when help arrived, until the NPC's told him that they didn't hit me once and I had 2 of them down to half hit points by myself.

I've never liked LARPing. It just isn't for me. A bunch of my old high school buddies really got into it for a while, but it just wasn't my thing.

I'm not into larping either. I do like to cosplay tho.

I hear thunder and see a little rain, hoping for a big storm tonight

No, I'm kind of in Limbo with her. A few things about my life scare her. Like the baby, the ex, and my living situation.

And, unfortunately, I'm so into her, other women are not appealing to me right now. :(

summons a rainstorm in this thread by way of rain dance

I'm glad I live to the north. No flooding issues, but yeah. Derek's area... He's screwed. :^(

Cosplay is cool. I'd do it myself, if I was more creative.

Well... I'd consider it at least.

Cosplay is awesome, I'd do it myself, except that it's bloody expensive, and there aren't enough Cons in Arizona to full it off more than twice a year.

Mmmm, you have to post pics if you make it!
I wish I could go with Leafy to Paizocon. It being across country is too much of a hassle I think. Maybe some day. =S
It would be neat cosplaying one of my DnD characters.
