I've run some pretty wacked out games after drinking more than I should, which is usually after a 6 pack. It was pretty much everything goes. I used the Chanak setting (Creative Campaigning) at the time.I am becoming convinced that I GM better after 2-4 stiff drinks.
I think this was a little more than a 6 packs worth. 2 monster white russians (probably about 3-4 shots of vodka, twice that much kaluha and baileys total).
I did kill a player but he took it well. Overall, quite a laid back session.
One of my close friends can't handle thirde edition DD&D, says he doesn't wanna have to relearn the game. I keep telling hime the most of the math is backwards. Any way he's got a slew of 2E characters and I use modifications to GM 3E without him realizing it. Anyhow, I went so far to send his characters through a time warp to 1980s Eartgh where they met Ash. Well, they eventually got back to the forgotten RrRealms (with Ash) and his other GM let him keep Ash as yet another character. He's grown so attached to these characters that I have to keep modifying the rules to make encounters a challenge. He isn't liking it, but adventuring shouldn't be a cakewalk.
