I love the movie Iron Man. The part where he is testing out how to fly...cracks me up. Dude did a great job!

Black Sabbath + Iron Man = Win.

Happy Friday. It's snowing here. Yeah! We really didn't get enough this season.

Commission reports are due today. For some reason, people expect to be paid around here.

I enjoyed that movie a lot too. Last night watched Broken Arrow. "Would you mind not shooting at the thermal nuclear weapon?"

Well, the big IEP meeting thingy was today. There was a distinct lack of organization on their part. The psychologist was confident that Bryce is not on the autism spectrum, but couldn't tell us why he has been exhibiting similar behavior patterns. But she did do a good job of explaining how she had done the testing and why she came to the conclusion she did. The school has pretty much decided that ADHD is the catch-all for what's wrong with him as that is at least sufficient to qualify him for the extra help he needs. I can't really blame them. There is a plan in place now to get extra help in the classroom for him and times when he will get extra sessions on learning how to write and on developing social skills. So it's not like they're not doing exactly what they need to. I'm just frustrated because all of this is treating the symptoms instead of finding and addressing the problem. I still have no idea how to help my son. :(

You are doing the best you can. Your son is very lucky in that sense.

Don't forget to register your float in time to enter the contest.

Hmm, the thing about being on a normal persons schedule is that I eat more. And I know its healthier to eat 3 normal meals at normal times. But it feels like I am eating a lot considering I used to eat twice a day.I wonder whats for lunch?

OH!! I have some Steak Ums left, I will bet they would rock on an everything bagel with cheese!! I even have Mozzarella and provolone!

Black Sabbath + Iron Man = Win.

AC/DC + Iron Man 2 = Still a Win.

Hi guys. Sorry to hear that most of you had an uck day. Mine was more meh. Nothing bad nothing great.

On subject: Kellen's IEP meeting was yesterday. Went great. Sucks to hear that Bryce isn't responding. I had hoped that he would do like Kellen had. Since they were so parallel in attitude.

I am trying to find a summer camp for him. Something physical and science related. The Aquarium has a couple of programs, and there are a couple of away camps. I sent off for more info. And I am looking for something for them now. Like soccer or swimming. Everything is just so stupid expensive.

Know anyone that is a member of a shooting club? My brother got his to sponsor my daughter several years back for summer camp. She had a blast.
Like a gun club? I am not anti guns....but for my 7 year old? No. Just no... Archery sure, horse back riding ok, scuba diving Absolutely, guns...no.

It's all age appropriate. I don't think they do guns that young, and the camp is not run by the gun club. It's generic, normal summer camp. They just sponsor to get kids outdoors.

Now that sounds up my alley. Talked to the boy this morning. He is all about some camp. Need to talk with hubby more, but I think it will make a good b-day present. :D

The only part I ever liked about camping is pitching a tent.

Very much looking forward to it. My neighbor Thomas (he's a senior citizen) loves superhero movies too....we saw The Wolfman together yesterday and have plans to catch Iron Man 2 on the silver screen.

Why does this not surprise me?

Flash!! Got the box today! Holy cow thats a lot of Tim Tams! Thank you so much. My mother says thanks as well. She had asked that I get her a box of them when you sent more. :)

Riley is in love with the book. And the other two say 'Thank you Uncle Flash' for the Wheel cookies. I designated them theirs so that they don't eat all mine again! ;)

Kid had another good day at school! And he got a 100% on his reading, spelling, and science test. :D

Last day before spring break and my kid got a snow day. Hopefully there will be enough snow to go sledding tomorrow.

Did you like the Mint Slices? They're Mel's favourites. And the Chocolate Chocolate Crush ones are new. I think they might have replaced the Cookies & Cream Crush ones.

Cool. Seth loves his Cars books, so I figured Riley would too. :)
Those Wagon Wheels are only mini ones, the []ireal[/i] ones are twice that size. If they like them maybe next time I'll send some full sized ones, although you can only buy them individually wrapped, not in packs.

Man is it me or are the boards being super wanky today?

3 weeks and counting. Wusses. ;)

Actually I think I have a bit of a sinus headache adding to the normal aftermath of the hemorrhage headache, but I'm afraid to take any sinus med. The doc said they can increase the blood pressure which causes my head to feel like it's splitting. :(

So the b-day has been a quiet one and I plan an early bedtime. I'll blame it on the headache and not the extra year older. I WILL make up for it when I'm better. :)

Patrick Curtin wrote:

Yes. Over the past few days, three different posts by the GM in two different games disappeared.

I had a post appear on another thread than where I posted it, all sorts of posts vanishing (thank you CTRL+A and CTRL+C!!) and some weird vanishing thread titles. odd. Oh and back up ghost posties up the wazoo ...

Actually it's a Lotus. Not even the fancy nicer one. Very basic. But it is also purple. :)

And I have texting and internet capability now. SO cool. .....Yeah, I know. But you have to remember that my old phone was five years old and so was the calling plan. I had to pay every time someone sent me a text even if it was just random spam. So it's pretty exciting to finally catch up with the rest of the world. :)

The sinus stuff is really bad around here. Personally I'm planning on taking a couple benadryl and going to bed early in the hopes that tomorrow will be less allergy inducing.

Also, happy birthday. Get some rest, feel better, all that. I hope you get a chance to celebrate properly soon. :)

Yeppers, I do indeed have Sprint. Well, I originally signed up with Nextel way back when, but then they got bought by Sprint, so that's what I ended up with.

The wife bought me a 6-pack of Harps. 'For when I get better.' Cruel or thoughtful? Now to hide it from my sons.

EDIT: Beer gift for ToP! Woo hoo!
