Hey fapinator. Just decided to try Taig's solution to my thorny OTD problem. Plus I missed posting up here.

Welcome back! What was Taig's solution?

(By the way, we've been missing Mammy on the Untitled thread.)

I suggested he add thread to his "favorites" list.

That's why they should be paying you the big bucks, Badgah!

P.S. I seem to recall an ad somewhere that FB is looking to expand an addition 600 ppl in the Seattle area....

I'll have to check it out.

I don't really need big bucks. Just enough to support my RPG habit. And feed my family, I guess.

I totally ruined that plot point for a friend of mine, 6 months after the book came out.

How now hallowed drow cow?

Nice! I actually didn't know all of that as I stopped reading fiction for awhile ... starting to pick back up. I did pick up a couple used SW books and the one that interests me the most right now is the history of Darth Bane and the novel based off the Unleashed video game. Just picked up a graphic novel as well as the paper back for that ... and a graphic novel on Darth Maul too.

Is there a convenient location that shows you the list of the books in the chronological order they fall under?

To this day, Zahn's initial trilogy still remains my favorite. I've always had a liking for Grand Admiral Thrawn.

If you like Zahn's stuff, you should take a look at Outbound Flight. His duology (Specter of the Past, Vision of the Future) was pretty good as well.

Here is a pretty comprehensive list of the novels and where they fall. At the bottom of the page are links to other genres (comics, etc.) as well for the completist. I read a few of the novels based on the prequels and felt that overall they were pretty lame. I have the Darth Bane book, you'll have to let me know if it's any good. I've pretty much read everything up through Legacy of the Force: Inferno.

Really though, I need to get back to reading real novels. I still need to read Feast for Crows.

It may just be me but If I was Lucas I would stop all novels. This thing has gotten out of control.

YES.

The stories have gone way past any need for more of them and the man doesn't need more income.

I have been beating my brain, trying to figure out why my blog stopped importing to my Facebook fan page. After kicking it in the head, I got it to work. Unfortunately, the formatting for the new 0-level spell I added to article did not translate. That was expected though and I am not sure there is much I can do about that.

Dude, it's not cool to talk about The Thing when he's not here to defend himself...

Is it bad that I've only seen bits and pieces of the Star Wars movies?

I lose all geek cred, don't I?

Nah. Those things are, like, 30 years old. They're not relevant anymore.

What sucks is that my ex-wife had bought me a Star Wars Trivial Pursuit Game that involves all six films and I've never taken it out of the box because I can't find anyone to play against. :/

Silver Crusade

Wait, I did see one of the Star Wars movies at the theater.

It was Episode 2.

From what I hear, that's probably part of the problem.

Wow, the worst of the series. You really should see Episodes 4-6 to cleanse your mind of that one.

Trust me, no need to help me. It was pretty much mush before this point, so it won't take me long to get it all stirred up and ready to go.

I feel like I've seen most of those at some point or other, but mostly in bits and pieces.

Have you seen the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy?

Of course! All at the theater (FotR and TT on opening night, RotK sometime opening weekend) and on DVD (theatrical and extended versions, although once you've seen the wonder that is the extended version, who would anyone want to see the dumb theatrical version?)

I guess I'm more of a fantasy geek than a sci-fi geek.

More times than I care to admit.

Incidentally, I watched it again with some friends a couple years back... After LotR, it's kind of hard to watch Willow - especially the "special effects". Still a classic, though.

How ironic you posted that .... :P

But seriously, when do you need a response by? This evening? I can check it out while the lil lady's watching her Thursday night staples that I don't care about.

Heh. ASAP, of course. I'm behind and need to send to print shop. So even an eye-balling is okay.

Just out of curiosity, how far out am I stepping here? You shouldn't be able to edit it, but can you copy or print it? Save it?

EDIT: Well, ever conversion it uploads has some goofiness. PDF seems to have the least, so changed.

Spoiler:
I would highlight the "not" in questions 22 and 40 (like you did in question 48), to make sure no one misreads them. In 23, I would replace "him" with "Siddhartha" to avoid confusion.

Otherwise, without a whole lot of background in the subject matter, the test looks good to me.

Good catches, thanks, CH. This exists in so many versions with so many edits, changes, and tinkers, that it is easy to miss getting everything consistent.
