Looks good to me. Can you throw in another choice in question 10? It just seems like it needs a 'd'.

Also, where are the essay questions???

You need to drop kick your browser. How does one achieve felicity w/o Google Docs?

Will take a look. Still writing essay question, as I have more time on that. It will be as broad as my ass.

EDIT: 10 is basically a Do you know who the members of the Trimurti are? question, so I went with just the three.

Keri Russell?

That would be an achievement I would need to write about afterwards to fully enjoy it. Hence, still Google Docs. And of course its cohort, OpenOffice.

If so, I just might forgive you and stop hating you for the above.

EDIT: Well, every conversion it uploads has some goofiness. PDF seems to have the least, so changed.

EPIC FAIL: Blocked at work. So all I can comment on is...

1) "Han Solo" should be capitalized.
2) "Its" should have an apostrophe.
3) I was impressed with your usage of "pusillanimous".

And, on that note, time to head to work. Later.

I was thinking that when I replied to your last message. I haven't seen the movie, but there's Daybreakers ... and one that I have seen that's Lovecraft inspired: In The Mouth of Madness.
In the Mouth of Madness is another great movie. Really twisted. But, have you guys ever seen Attack Force Z? Awesome flick with a very young Sam Neil - came out about a year after the Omen flick.

nah... Death in Brunswick is the best Sam Neill movie ever! ;)

Pointless Star Wars quote for TotP.

Years ago a good friend of mine told me that Star Wars was FULL of sexual innuendoes. I've never been able to watch it the same again.

"At that speed will we be able to pull out in time?"

So, what exactly was Princess Leia implying when she said "Would somebody get this walking carpet out of my way."?

** sticks fingers in ears (or covers eyes) **

La, la, la, la, la ...

And now I have to wonder - just what was Chewbacca saying all those times? Was Han translating truthfully, or just covering up for Chewie's interspecies perversions?
So Chewie is the Star Wars equivalent of Kenny from South Park? In other words, we have to assume he's saying the most foul thing possible at all times?

Or Keop from Battle of the Planets.

I heard that in the original Gatchaman he was a foul mouthed little fncker but instaed of trying to totally translate & rewrite all of his lines, they just gave him that funny "brrp doop" voice.

Which shouldn't be too much longer after the last novel... :/

Only because you asked...

your story -- edited:
No one knows the cause of the problems. It wasn’t just one thing. The world got warmer, and nothing could be done about it. Ecological catastrophes barely cleaned up just made things worse. Crops failed from the heat. Tensions rose and people were forced to abandon their homes and travelled across borders. Bad as things were, this made matters worse. Those who moved believed different things, different religions, than those who were already here. Not to mention the drug dealers. It was too hot for their crops so they moved where it was cooler, which then caused more conflict since the interlopers looked much like those causing children harm. Or so the locals thought. Few travel in the mountains anymore.

More and more things were blamed on terrorists. Whether they existed or not, the media had a way of finding someone to blame; that or the terrorists took the blame to cause more people to be wary of them.

We were almost 10 billion on this world. Now the estimates are less than 1 billion. It is amazing how life will propagate when it has an opening. Unknown species or variants thereof are found almost yearly. Darwin would have been proud.

There are few guesses as to where the plague came from. Korea, or what is left of that radioactive slag, is the top of the list for many. Since China was the place hit first and worst, many think it was some sort of plant by them to discredit one of their enemies while at the same time ‘slaying the dragon.’

Grandfather, you may yet be young, but trust me -- these things will come to pass. It cannot be stopped. Every event of the future reinforces the events of the past. Time is like a self-correcting equation. You may put in a new variable but it quickly becomes the same answer. The only things we know that can go against the arrow of time are radio waves so this is how I am speaking to you now. You must do all you can to help us prepare. Make storehouses for nonperishable foods, weapons, and medicines. Use militias to help you if you must.

One thing more, whatever you do, however you must do it, never let them put you in Arkham. Stay away from the east coast at all costs.

Other comments:

Really it wasn't that bad at all. Given the word-count limitation, it really was pretty good. A couple minor suggestions...

Look at some of my changes. Grammatical and otherwise. Especially for something like this, make sure that things are grouped together appropriately. Do your best to use "active voice" (one of my biggest failings as a writer). Lastly, for something this short -- "less is more". You could have taken out the comments about the species and expanded on how it spread. Or on more instructions on what to do -- more? How much? etc.

But I thought it was a good clean story overall.

O.o

I have a crapload of the Novels, plus almost all of the Decipher CCG cards. Plus nearly all of the Wizards RPG books and half a dozen WEG ones. Plus all of the comics (up until I stopped collecting comics 2 years ago - reduced income and something had to go unfortunately, RPing and a small amount of CCGs won).

I've got the Original Trilogy one and play it very occasionaly, but I have to beg and plead to do it. On a couple of occasions I've gone from start to finish without anyone else getting a go and it tends to piss them off. :/

My brother has it. In order for us to play with anyone else, we have to play ...

If they get ANY answer right, they get the corresponding piece.
When we land on the correct space to get a piece, we have to answer EVERY question on the card to get that color.

One of us still ends up winning usually.
