Well, I finally got all of my plants planted (except for the two that are Bryce's that I'll have to help him with later) including a beautiful red rosebush. I have to say, this container garden is a lot easier to deal with than a real garden. :)

Too late! I've already (foolishly) visited some of the more contentious threads hereabouts.

On a side note, I'm hoping to get a delivery from Amazon today - a new Brian Lumley novella. That would be an awesome birthday present.

There are better ways to celebrate, you know. :)

It turns out my fear about blowing the phone interview were well-founded. I won't be going any further in the interview process. It's OK, Seattle was gonna be a tough sell anyway.

I did that once. If I had choked and coughed to death, my last thought would have been, "Oh, what painful irony!"

Seriously. Is that what 21-year-olds are doing now-a-days?

You got me. I think I actually started to cough in the middle of drinking that stuff. And it f*&+ing burns.....

And.....on that note, I'm out again for a bit. Got to drive over to Lowes and buy a new range hood for the kitchen. Later folks.

Sorry to hear that.

Maybe the heavy breathing on the phone call was a little over the top?

The interviewer did seem taken aback when I started commenting on her phone voice.

You didn't call her Clarice, did you?

And I see we have yet another thread trying to turn our beloved Off-Topics sections into a troll feeding grounds.

Awright folks I'm off for now. Talk to everyone later.

On a happier note: Went to Lowes and bought the new range hood. I also picked up a 3 piece adjustable wrench set for $20. Then, just for s$$~s and giggles, I walked over to best Buy and purchased Event Horizen and Dracula on Blu Ray.

Booyah for self-purchased birthday presents!

You didn't call her Clarice, did you?

Or ask her about lambs and fava beans?
