Paizo was a beckoning. Man, do you ever feel like you're contributing something absolutely worthwhile and insightful to a thread only to have it utterly ignored by the trolls who just want to continue arguing? Or have corrected something a page early, only to have everyone else hop on a day and a half later to say the same exact thing without even looking at your post that was on 1st page? Oy.

And Han shot first!

Happens all the time. It's why I'm very limited about where I post now.

Heh. I don't let myself get carried into it. I just snark and really don't give a damn about the fallout. If children can't share their crayons, then lock it up. :P

Alright, so I'm very experienced with two game systems that are being compared to one another. I create an insightful post designed to show the differences between the two d20 based systems that indicate why certain paths were taken by each but not the other. When said post was completed I stood back with pride and clicked "Submit". No responses... just several pages of c@^( wagging to follow. Sigh.

Its just sad to see something worthwhile get trashed.

Ah...a game night. Haven't had one since December. *sighs*

Carry on.

Well what are you waiting for? Find one, man!

I kind of fell out of interest of the previous one I was participating in. A lot had to do with the poor timing of getting let go from work and having to put one of my dogs down. Another thing that was getting to me was the 8pm Friday night schedules lasting until 2am. Third, I'd like to branch out of the 'core-only' and try out other things.

Incidently, which reminds me ... Matthew Morris is looking to launch one up this month and I want to give it a try. I need to pester him, so thanks for the reminder. :D

Is that a PBP or a live game that Matt is wanting to launch?

Live. After two failed attempts to participate, it's easier on me to do a PbP when it works on the side to a live setting. Found out several months ago that Matt lives on the same side of Columbus I do (although I'm a little more east of him), I figured ... why not?

Something about pearls before swine. :)

Most people just aren't interested in listening. But some are. Take comfort in the fact that the ones who paid attention are probably lurkers. :)

Huh. I would have just handed him a d20, but I guess that's just me. ;P

Man, this is easier than panhandling.

*gives Urizen 10 $2 bills*

That twenty won't be worth anything for five hundred years... its got President Commacho on it.

What they don't know about our future dead presidents south of the border won't hurt them.

Colonel, the other side is feeling lonely. Stuff one there too.

*stuffs a roll of quarters in the other side*

Sorry, it's all I had. Laundry day and all...

Liberty's Edge

My butt fell asleep. LOL!

*sigh*

I forgot how much I love babies. Got to baby sit for my co worker today. Her lil girl is just 4 months old. Such a sweet happy baby. We had a blast. Didn't want to give her back. :(

No problem. You know what happens after you insert coins? You pull the lever.

Nothing a whoopie cushion can't fix.

The nice thing about babysitting is being able to give the baby back at the end of the day if its been a pain.

Its also the bad thing if you enjoyed watching the baby.

Changing diapers doesn't bother me. I have been doing it for almost 8 years straight now. None of my children were out of diapers by the time the new ones came around. :)

BBQ in the oven.

Mmmm, Chicken wings.

She was such a sweet baby. Smiled and talked at us. Ate well, slept, and cuddled. Really didn't want to give her back.

In her defense, she is married and decided to keep it after thinking about an abortion.

All those 4e flame wars are making you tense, Ross. It's not too late to start drinking on the job this fine afternoon!

Good to know she's keeping it. Hopefully if she doesn't want more, she's doing something to step up her game aside from Catholic Family Planning. ;)

She wants to try to have a daughter, but I think three is going to be her limit. If the next child is a boy, odds are slim that she'll try again. I'm hoping that the third will be a girl. I want to have a niece. With all the Disney flicks I have and the topics that keep me interested, I'm sure she and I will get along famously.

If I cooked a monkey and ate BBQ fashion... is that like lesser cannibalism?

This is unfair. Not all of us participated.

Because we were AFK at the time. Unwillingly good, but good nonetheless.
