My character is level 8 and has like 25 PA. Is there any reason NOT to start spending some of that on 750gp items so I can save of my real gp for more expensive items? Opinions, please. Thanks.

Well, while you max PA only goes up, once you use up you available PA it is gone for good. You only get more PA for spending by earning more. So if you think there will never be a need for some major use of you PA, then go ahead and use it for some free gear. Of course, it would suck if you spent some PA and then in a high level scenario you need to spend PA on a raise dead or resurrection and be just a point or two short because of that new shiny you had to have.

I have never spent a PA on anything. I think there's also a limit to how useful a 750gp item is at higher levels, but I've also never felt I needed anything I couldn't buy with gold. And I'm paranoid that I'll need that resurrection/true resurrection down the road, and when I do, I'd rather not have to sell my much-loved gear to fund it.

Of course, it's equally possible that you might spend your PA on a resurrection and then you have to sell a much-loved piece of gear in order to fund another purchase.
For what it's worth, a 5,450 gp Raise Dead costs 16 PA, or 340.625 gp per PA. That compares favourably to the 375 gp worth of benefit you could get if you got an item worth exactly 750 gp. But then again, how many items are worth example 750 gp? Certain potions, scrolls and wands, I suppose.

Except the PA cost for True Resurrection is almost beyond the ability to save for.
Spend it!
Personally, I've found that keeping a wand of CLW around in the early levels is worth the early price, and True Resurrection isn't out of reach spending it early on.
And yes, this holds true for just about everyone, if you usually play at cons. You never know when your only healer is going to be the pregen, or a guy with UMD.

While I won't say, "NEVER!" I will say, "That's highly unlikely."
Always thought it was a good idea, as more content comes out and Pathfinder grows that as the years go by, the level cap would be raise like how another campaign did it. I can understand the possible reasons not to, but doesn't seem like the hope to play any classes and try out some for Prestige classes know you could only maybe cap 4 or 5 levels in to these classes and be able to try out some of the higher level action and put characters to the test. Yet this is your campaign and i love it, just i can hope...
for now, i go to bed....

Dwraith, there's nothing keeping you and your friends from taking your retired PFS characters and extending their adventuring career in a home campaign. "Guardians of Dragonfall" and "The Demon Within" might need a little boosting, and "Blood of Dragonscar" might need a little bit of hand-holding, depending on the characters and the size of the party.
It seems, though, that PFS is going to create a lot of orphan Pathfinder characters at about 13th Level, and there doesn't seem to be a good module written for that level. Hmmm.

I can hear the cogs and gears rolling from here. What are you plotting?

Then again, if I read the rules right, my 3/5 PA is not enough, yet, to allow me to get a wand of CLW. I don't think it is in the always abvailable items, or am I misreading?
I have GM'd 3 scenarios for my home group. My character is a bard. I too wanted to get a wand of CLW but fall short of the PA requirement. I will be starting to play my character at our FLGS as we have set up PFS to start on February 27. Just in case I'm at a table without much healing.
In other words I 2nd this question and would really like to be able to purchase one.

A wand of CLW costs 750gp with the spell at caster level one, so you have two choices. First, you can permanently use two of your PA for the free purchase of 750gp item choice on the spending PA chart. Second, wait til you have earned 9 PA and then legally buy as many wands of CLW as you want since the cost per wand comes in under the max cost limit of 1500gp per item. There is a third option, of course, but only if a wand of CLW appeared on either your current or previous two chronicle sheets where you can buy it from that source regardless of PA.

To clarify is it legal for me to use 2 of my 3 PA to buy a CLW wand even though normally I would not have access?

Yes, it is legal.
