Yep.
A couple of months ago, Chris Pramas asked me if I'd be interested in taking on this project. I, of course, said yes, but I'd need some help, so I wrangled up a few trusted companions. The team is Greg Vaughan, Brandon Hodge, John Ling and myself. At this point, it's pretty much a complete revision for the new rules, rewriting and changing the things that didn't quite fit.Matthew Morris RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32, 2010 Top 8 |

I promise I will fail my will save on this one. :P
Hopefully this release will be a first in a line of more to follow.

I'm going to assume you mean the chapter break downs and such. In that case, we used the d20 book as a baseline, but I can't guarantee what will change or happen once the manuscript is out of our hands. I'm betting it will be very similar.

I wonder what he means by "this will be a softcover that works with the Pirate's Guide to Freeport."
The Pirate's Guide to Freeport is the core book for the setting now, after they revised Freeport a while back. This is from their description of the book:
"Freeport is Green Ronin's signature city setting and has been home to thousands of RPG campaigns since its launch in 2000. Classic fantasy elements, cruel-hearted pirates, and Lovecraftian horror come together in the rum-fueled metropolis known as the City of Adventure. Now a new era is beginning. The Pirate's Guide to Freeport is the definitive new sourcebook for the City of Adventure, set 5 years after the events of the original Freeport Trilogy. This is a pure setting book, focusing entirely on the people, places, politics, and perils of Freeport and containing no game statistics of any kind. The Pirate's Guide to Freeport can thus be used with any fantasy RPG, and Green Ronin will be providing companion products for popular systems like True20 and d20. The City of Adventure is back and more dangerous than ever!"

Oh! Didn't know that. I'll now have to order it.

Bucaneers of Freeport and Cultists of Freeport are the same way. I enjoy GR's Loviatar/Lowytar cult myself, and her motivations.
Anyone know if GR's going to do a PDF/Dead Tree bundle? and if said bundle will be available here?

A new thread was posted today over on Green Ronin's forums about this product. They need some naming help with it. Go here to read it. Maybe someone official from Paizo can go over and help them.

I just got this recently, along with the Pirate's Guide to Freeport, and honestly it's one of my better purchases. There's stuff in here I plan on using in non-Freeport games.
The Noble class was one of my favorite offerings from the old Green Ronin "Master Class" series, and seeing it updated for Pathfinder pleases me. I also love the racial stats for Serpent-People, which I plan on using as a substitute for the Snake-Man stats in the Bestiary 2. Or perhaps keeping the Bestiary 2 stats for "Noble" Snake-Men.
Fitting Freeport into Golarion wouldn't be too challenging an exercise. I believe James Jacobs himself chimed in that it would fit in nicely on an Island off the coast of Northwest Garund, which would place it near Mediogalti Island, and North of the Eye of Abendego, and North of the Shackles, which would have an interesting relationship with the rival City of Pirates. Alternatively, one could move Freeport further south and place it in the Shackles proper, replacing Port Peril as the capital of the Shackles (or keeping both, as the New York to Port Peril's Washington DC).
