Blast the doors of fantasy wide open. Imagine a world not too unlike Earth set in the Gothic Era, now throw in magic and envision the world experiencing an arcane renaissance. Technomagical devices replicate some modern technology and basic governmental strictures within some lands make it mandatory to provide an education to the masses. Among the topics of things teached is arcane theory; those which can wrap their minds around it can benefit from the use of cantrips by selecting a feat that allows it. The civilized lands is just one part of the world though.
Vast tracks of wilderness remain unspoiled and steaming jungles and forests can be found aplenty. The wilderness teems with life, not just sentient life that lives in harmony with nature, but also primordial life; serpents, scalykind and triassic terrors. This world has not suffered from any extinction level events and these life forms have been evolving for millennia. There are many sentient reptilian races that have evolved from prehistoric life forms. There was once a grand empire that spanned the known world that fell into decadency and in its wake lies ruins ripe for plundering and trepidations best not trifled with.
The civilized world and the primordial lands are in an ever constant battle to remain dominant.
Within this tome you will find the following;
O Dwarves, Elves & Humans re-imagined, plus seven new racial options.
O An overview of the character classes; there are some new classes and a few changes to existing classes.
O Faith & Fervor; A look at the deities and what they stand for and a smattering of new domains.
O A vast array of new equipment, weapons & armor.
O More feats and spells than you can shake a stick at.
O A gazetteer full of fluff and crunch and various adventuring locales detailed.
O An overview of the cosmos and extraplanar locales.

Planar Overview is up!
Nice, TAD! I like the Empty Echo and the Eternal Twilight planes, both seem like good places for creepy Twilight-Zone-like adventures. Keep on keepin' on! :)

You might find it worthwhile to get Pro-Fantasy's Campaign Cartographer 3. Then, you can make the maps yourself, and can zoom in on specific regions to print up regional maps, etc. The tutorial and user booklet make it pretty easy to start making pro-quality fantasy maps. I have used CC2, and can only imagine that CC3 is even better.
(Reading my post, one would think I work for Pro-Fantasy! LOL!)

I've started work on the classes. Barbarians are out as a base class but will be redone as a 15 level PrC. Bards are replaced with Spellsingers. Monks are replaced with Anchorites (which use chi, the soul, to power their abilities).
The fighter has undergone serious revision to be able to better stand up against dedicated spellcasters. Pathfinder does a good job of giving them more oomph, but imo not enough. I consider armor and weapon training to equate to proficiency, so honing your skills with these leads to expertise.
I break down the levels into tiers, 1-6 (heroic), 7-13 (paragon), 14+ (epic). This makes it easy on me to convert and use 4E material in my Pathfinder world. The added oomph for the races and classes is for good reason as encounters can be a little more brutal than normal.

No replies in a while, anyone still following?
I like what you did with some of the classes, especially fighter's bonded weapon. I might be using your version of fighter from now on! I'll check out more when I get the chance, and let you know what I think. Keep up the good work, TAD! :)

I could help you and draw something up. :)

I put the finishing touches on my Anchorite (monk replacement) class today. It must be formatted before it can be submitted to the Pathfinder Database, but until then you can peruse and download the PDF from scribd.

I started work on the Elven racial entry this morning and just completed them. Until it debuts on the database, they can be looked over at scribd.

TAD, are you putting all of this into an organized PDF / .docx file?
One file per Chapter for now. With the art I want to comission and professional looking maps I want done, the final PDF is gonna be huge.
If anyone knows anyone that does cartography comissions, please let me know, as the best I can do right now is crude hand drawn maps. I have CC3, but it has a huge learning curve and it could take me years to master it.
