ChrisRevocateur, I looked over Kyras' sheet. I have just a couple of comments.
1. I don't see his hit points on the sheet. Am I overlooking them perhaps?
2. There is no 'Chelaxian' language per se, the local language is Taldane. This is the same as the Common tongue for Golarion. Bottom line, Chelaxian and Common are the same. So, he can take a different language selection instead.
Those are the only issues I see with the sheet. Well done!

Sorry for the delay. Life (and the Pinewood Derby) got in the way :)
I don't think I'm going to have time to really develop my pc for a week or so, so I think it would be best for me to drop out. Sorry about that, but good luck!
Ah, Pinewood Derby! Good memories of my days in the Scouts.
Anyhow, I am very sorry to see that you'll be dropping from the game. Thanks for letting me know, and I wish you good gaming in the future!

Cry Havoc! |

far_wanderer, I looked over Jacob's sheet. My comments...
1. Damage die with heavy spiked shield should be 1d6, I believe, not 1d8.
2. I calculated the off-hand two weapon attack with the spiked gauntlet at -4, not -6.
3. I'm not sure if this is a true oversight, but my preference would be to include the additional Armor Check Penalty due to the shield in his total Swim score. Presumably, there will be times when he might drop his shield before diving in, but that might not always be possible.
Other than these issues, I think he looks great. Good job!

Pontius Grachius |

Thanks for inviting me Havoc :)
Here we go ... Pontius Grachius - Actor Extrodinaire
Here's a small rundown of his background.
His uncle was an actor of some reknown, he has learned the trade from him. Only Pontius knew that his uncle had sticky fingers. Unfortunately the hellknights caught him, and sent him to the hellknight keep. Never to return.
For this he particularly likes to target the families of prominent hellknights and his/her guests.
Besides his robbing, he also likes to con wealthy people out of their money, again particularly the hellknight families.
The more he can riffle them without being caught, the higher the rush. This is what he calls his payback, and their due!
See Pontius a bit like Face from the A-Team :)
I probably forgot a few things, but I think I have most of the basics.

Cry Havoc! |

TDL, Pontius' background is off to a good start. Presumably, he would have issues with the diabolist powers-that-be, and their associates, the Hellknights, due to the treatment of his uncle at their hands. But how did he come to the attention of Janiven, and why would a lone con man like Pontius be interested in uniting with others (some of whom may have much stricter interpretations of what is 'right' than he does?) Do a little brainstorming, see what you can come up with.

Kyras |

ChrisRevocateur, I looked over Kyras' sheet. I have just a couple of comments.
** spoiler omitted **
Hit points added. I don't know why the GM previously didn't catch that, but it's been fixed.

Well, this is my first dip into Golarion. I don't really know anything about it. But it has been fixed.

Will do :)
Like I said, it's only a rough background ... I'll create one today.

Thanks for making those fixes, Chris. The language thing seemed a little odd to me too, when I first learned of it, so don't worry about it. The bottom line is just that I didn't want Kyras to get short-changed one of his languages. :)

Cry Havoc! |

Camris here. I think Professor Faradir Rokannon is done. What do you think?
Camris, I haven't had a chance yet to crunch the numbers, but I did want to comment on the professor's background. I really like his backstory, because it's a different from the typical adventurer's b/g. The only element that seems to be missing is his contact with Janiven and invitation to the clandestine gathering. Is there something about Faradir which would draw the attention of a freedom fighter as a potential recruit for the organization?

Definitely. I chose gnoll 'cause I figured that could have been the main humanoid enemy near his mother and uncle's homeland, meaning that his uncle most likely taught it to him.

Apart from the lay out .. his background is ready.
Let me know if I need to make some alterations.
Cool, I'll review Pontius this weekend.
As I recall, Katya needs a finished equipment list, and Faradir may just need a bit of teaking for his background. Hopefully, we can get these last few hiccups smoothed out over the next couple of days. If so, the IC thread should go live early next week! :)
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Alright, finished his background layout and made a description of him.
And completely forgetting my manners.
Hi everyone :)

Hi guys,
Well, my weekend was totally derailed by a nasty case of bronchitis! I finally decided to go to the urgent care clinic last night, after I couldn't take the coughing anymore. So, three prescriptions later, I'm on my way to recovery, I hope. But the point is, I didn't have any energy for looking over character sheets. I might look things over today, depending on how I feel. So, our game's launch might get pushed back a few days. Just wanted to give you all a head's up.

Good to hear you're on your way back to recovery ... and don't worry ... I think most people can wait a few more days to start.
We'll hear from you when you feel better, no worries (from my side anyway ;))

And suddenly, Tuesday becomes Thursday! Sorry all, real life has just kicked my butt this week. I'm feeling better, but now my entire household has been sick as well. So, that means less sleep and lots more stress for all. I really do apologize for the delays.
That said...I'm going to dig in to the remaining character sheets right now! So, I think we're back in the saddle. Thanks for being patient.

Cry Havoc! |

Alright, we're rolling! PsionicFox, I looked over Katya! Here are my observations...
I think her hit points should be 8, not 10 (d6 hit die, plus CON plus Favored Class?)
She should have a -1 damage penalty to her melee attacks.
Her total AC is 11 (typo'd as 10)
You don't have to, but you might consider listing current XP as -1000, to reflect the penalty we imposed for her extra racial abilities. That way we won't forget.
Everything else looks fine! Thanks!

Sounds like a household with children ... I can wholly relate, have 3 kids myself :)
And so I know for a fact, that having kids means 500% more susceptible to germs, flu's and diseases :P
But welcome back ... hope RL keeps it ugly little head hidden for now.

TDL, last but not least, I went over Pontius' character sheet. Here are my comments...
I don't see his hit points anywhere. (Should be 7 as far as I can see).
I'd like to have his combat stats (attacks and damage) on the sheet.
I didn't see his saving throw numbers.
Initiative is missing also.
With the bonus skill point from choosing rogue as favored class, he can take one more skill rank.
If you could, please take another look at the sheet, and see if you can address these points. Then I'll have another look. Thanks!

Guys, you can click on my profile link to see that I have started a section for campaign resources. Right now, I just posted a link to a map of the city, and it shows where Vizio's Tavern is located. As the campaign progresses, I will use my profile to include maps, an NPC guide, handouts, and anything else that will help keep the game organized and interesting. Check it out!

Fixed :)
Fixed this +1 skill bonus is from human, +1 hitpoint from favored class.

Added all to the sheet.

I don't know how many people have this book ... but this is VERY amusing and could help us in the future ;)
The first step is determining how much the accused can pay. Certain crimes require a minimum payment to look the other way, and the most serious crimes—capital crimes, for the most part—are well beyond the reach of the lowest classes, though city guards may succumb to the temptation to take the highest inducement the accused can pay. Revolutionaries and radicals shriek that this system favors the rich and the powerful; ordinary citizens consider it the way things should be; after all, when they become wealthy, they want the perquisites that come with power (never mind that their chances of ever growing wealthy are slim to none).
The next calculation is how much to pay for the alleged offense, and to whom to pay it. Offering too little is insulting, though it can reduce the severity of the charges without making them disappear. Offering too much is considered a far graver insult to the officer or magistrate. Offering it to a Hellknight is an invitation to a beating.
Next comes the offer. One cannot simply throw money at an officer and walk away; this is a careful dance, delicately negotiated without saying the word “bribe.” Offering to donate to the officer’s favorite charity or simply asking the amount of the fine and then offering to pay it on the spot are the customary methods.
Be careful, though: some officers and magistrates find the offer of a bribe an insult to their integrity. Further, it is important to note that bribes are for crime and vice; offering an official a bribe to hurry government business implies that the government is lax and inefficient, and is a crime on par with blasphemy.
Below are several common offenses and the recommended bribes associated with them.
Offense Bribe
Public Lewdness 5 cp–10 gp
Breaking the Peace 1 sp–25 gp
Larceny (depending on severity) 5 sp–100 gp
Assault 10 sp–50 gp
Murder (depending on victim) 200–20,000 gp
Blasphemy 1,000–10,000 gp

I've been busy since Friday, what with a Buck's party, another engagement party, and a birthday party, s I haven't been able to post yet.
After I drop the missus off at work, I'll be able to post then. Sorry for the delay guys!
Hey PFox, thanks for checking in! I understand that life is really busy for you right now. In any case, I'm going to go ahead and advance things today, and hopefully we'll be able to get Katya in there sometime soon.

far_wanderer |

I'm helping to host a major family reunion this weekend, so I'll be a bit busy. I should still be able to check the thread occasionally, but don't wait for me on anything.
Jacob's actions should be fairly straightforward for this part anyway - stay near the front and if combat breaks out concentrate on defending the others.
