Congrats top 32!
I am one of the alternates (as Omas Adib) and feel quite happy I came so close. After reading Neal Spicer's suggestions, I was kicking myself for not taking more time and research the past two years of winners. Darn me for submitting the first day! :D
Ah well, now I know what to aim for next year..

First of a endless number of congratulations to the great 32. I refuse to call it lucky, as I believe all of you are very talented from what I saw in the items I've had a quick scan of so far.
I'm honestly happy all of you made it, and I didn't. Really. Thanks for making items that inspiring and awesome. You clearly did a great piece of work all of you, and I must say it's thrilling to have been in contest with such talented people.
Good luck for round 2 to all of you, I'll be expecting some fabulous monster concepts from what we've seen here.
Also thanks, a thousand times and over to Paizo for having this awesome contest, to the judges for taking the time and giving such great descriptions of exactly what makes each item make it. Know that your efforts are valued a lot.
And finally thanks to everyone who´'s not in as well, for trying and being so very awesome (and I just know) taking this with the usual great spirit and support to the talented ones, that I appreciate the most about these boards.
Think I've been through most of the thank yous, now, although I probably forgot a few.
Oh, yes... Thanks to everyone responsible of gettign the idea for the next round it looks interesting, fun and challenging, I'll be looking forward to commenting the beastie descriptions. Here's hoping we'll see something truly imaginative, innovative and thoughtful.
Now on to giving comments to the 32 genius people's things, and thinking of items for next year.
Sleep is overrated.
Good Superstaring, Supercommenting, Superjudging and most of all SuperPaizoing to everyone of you...

I have only a few words to say about this development: Wow. Wow! Really? You're sure? Wow! Oh god, I have three days for the next deadline! Panic!
Really though, I'm still in shock. I never thought I'd get that close to the top in the hundreds or thousand+ entries to the contest. All I can say is thanks to the judges and thank you everyone else.
Time to get writing!

Congratulations!
I think I'm going to have to be a "play-along" this time around, since I was a tad over-optimistic and came up with a few potential ideas for later rounds with monsters, villains, nations, etc.
(On that note, what's the standard "play-along" etiquette we've had around here in previous years? Just a single thread with our "entries" similar to that "rejected ideas" thread a few spots down? Or just wait until this round's over? Being a play-along sounds fun, but I'd hate to be a nuisance.)

As has been said already, congratulations to the Final 32! I've only had a chance to read a couple of the entries, but already, I see why I'm not in it - Dude, you guys are good! My vote is almost definitely going to the item that went in the same niche as mine - it fit better than mine.
Judges, I don't envy your jobs at all, and I think you all deserve a round of both applause and beverages!

Thanks to everyone!
I wish you all had made it with me! Every last one of you. This is gonna be a really great day for me that I'm going to remember for a long time.
And as corny as it sounds, I wish you all could feel this way too. In fact, I hope you do anyway. I've no doubt in my mind that there were tons of great items and the judges had a helluva time picking the final 32.

Wow. I'm in shock, I didn't expect I would get in the top 32. Thanks! And congratulations and good luck to all my fellow contestants!
stop that! According to gamer lore, you are supposed to:
"Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentation of their women".

1)Congrats to everyone who beat out the hundreds of us that didn't make the cut. The Judges obviously saw some big mojo in your work that the rest of us were lacking in...this time.
2)Having said that, however, i'm not seeing what that mojo was. I really hope they publish/release the items that didn't make the cut, because with only 2-3 exceptions i'm not feeling any of the top 32 items.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, or cause some sort of flame war, or anything, and it's truely not due to bitterness over being rejected (besides being lousy at spelling and grammar, my item probally contained too many homebrew references, so i never really expected it to advance). Most of the chosen items this year just don't excite me in any way. Last year i had a hard time deciding on which items to vote for - this year the choices are much easier.
I wish all 32 of ya'll the best and hope that the upcomming rounds contain even more big mojo (even if i don't "get it").

Congratulations on 32 jobs well done!
Each and every one of you have something to be proud of, and I'm anxious to see what you put before us in Round 2. Make it hard on us to vote for our favorites. Like last year, I will be following this year's contest with interest, and hopefully learning more, retaining that wisdom, and be among 2011's Top 32. :D
Good Luck! (That is good luck for this year's 32, not good luck for me.)

Thanks guys. For all the confidence I've forced myself to exude, I was equally prepared to find myself falling short. Had a bit of an adrenaline rush when I saw myself in the line-up!
The round 2 challenge is downright awesome. The "no mechanics" stipulation honestly makes it so that 3 days doesn't feel like a crunch at all; this is the kind of stuff that I used to do all day as a kid, while wandering around in summer climbing trees and smelling the grass. Funny how this contest keeps taking me back 20 years! With any luck, Responsible Adulthood hasn't done permanent damage... and that slightly weird little kid will have his sweet revenge upon it. :)
