You can not save skill points to spend later.
Is that in the book someplace? I can't find it. In 3.5 weren't you allowed to keep a few skill points unspent, but not feats?
So far I am not seeing a specific reference (at least on d20pfsrd.com) but I know that's how it was in 3.5 and I'd be stunned if they changed it for PF. I'm still looking though.
Your right on 3.5. I just found that so I would say that it is unchanged.
