I've been to Athas.org, and I like what they have done but they never updated the rules past 3.0 from what I have seen. I'd love to have it updated for Pathfinder.I dug out my Dark Sun stuff today. Does anyone know where I can find conversion material?For what- 3.0, 3.5. 3.P, or 4th ed? The best place to start would be Athas.org- an EXCELLENT community, almost(but not quite) as amazing as this one. I'll get the Dragon and Dungeon magazine issues that go into Dark Sun when I go home, maybe we can start up the whole "Paladins in MY Athas!??!?!" debate of old again.

Yeah, they had a yearly issue devoted to updating stuff from past settings. I think they only did two or three before Dragon got canceled.

Actually, last I checked, they DID update to 3.5, or at least the version of 3.5 that was out at that time. A pathfinderized Dark Sun...that's a tall order. The grittiness of the campaign was lost in the Dragon take on the setting, Athas.org, as wonderful as it is, primarily runs 2nd ed setting philosophy in a 3.x ruleset, and there is indeed something lost in the translation(although some of the feats and rules alterations are fascinating). I'd be interested in seeing how Pathfinder did Dark Sun, and although I think you'd be excellent at converting it considering your amazing body of work, I don't think it would be an Athas that hard core fans would recognize. Be ready to update the timeline(or perhaps a game set in the past is in order? Blue/Green Age Dark Sun? Hmm...) at least a little bit to accomodate some of the rules Pathfinder put in.
