Which reminds me... beginning the 1st of January, it becomes a state law in Ohio to have your headlights on at all times when using your window wipers. Else you can be pulled over and ticketed. May as well just turn the thing on by default so I don't succumb to absent mindedness.
That was the law in Jersey when I lived there. I always thought it was kind of wacky.

There's a number of new traffic laws that are popping up lately. While I think they're doing it under the guise of road safety, I really think the true ulterior motive is to create more scenarios where you can be pulled over for a primary offense in order to drum up fines to balance the budget.
