I wouldn't be caught dead watching the olympics.

EDIT: Heh heh heh. Moorcock fix.

Go to that thread and celebrate my rightness.

I already had earlier. <pulls down zipper, pulls out, smacks Mairk behind the head, shoves in, pulls up zipper>

I haven't had a chance to see. Woman came home, honey do began. Damn, she's not in a great mood tonight.

Yeah, I got a honey-do for the weekend or else she's informing me that she's going to purchase an electric cattle prod. Not exactly my kind of kink. :P

Color me curious as well, what's wrong with the Olympics?

Well, it appears the issue I mentioned only occurs on IE 8. Anyway, I am off to bed. See you all later.

I grew up with a fanatical Steelers fan who obsessed over football. He kinda got me burned out on it at an early age. I used to like boxing, and I will watch the occasional event during the Olympics, if for no other reason to cheer our atheletes on.

You'll have to tell me what issue, I was vacant for awhile, but good night Fryer. :)

Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, Wrestling(Pro AND Greco Roman), not a big fan of team sports.

EDIT: I should note that minus cable tv in my life I am so far out of the loop on everything that is going on though. :/

One thing I kvetch about is the crappy, crappy timeslots (or none at all) for Greco-Roman wrestling during the Summer Olympics.

Of course my favorite sport is Naked Solnes Wrestling. ;P

It gets no love at all. :(

Do you guys ever plan to get cable tv again?

The only sport I'll partake in is basketball. As for observation sports, unless it's a team I'm really rooting for, than I don't bother.

Most likely after the kids grow up.

To be honest I don't know. Pretty much everything we want to watch is on HULU or somewhere else so even if we do I'm not in any rush to do so. We kinda enjoy the fact that we spend most of our time interacting as a family.

LOL. Maybe not even then... I mean no kids means no reason to be quiet, we may not leave the bedroom. :P

The body requires food to survive. ;)

Well, when I got this laptop, the woman appreciated the fact that I'm here in the living room rather than isolated in the den. Luckily we both have our own laptops. :D But I am planning to switch to a different subscriber for phone/internet/cable in order to save money. It'll be my first time subscribing to satellite television.

So Moorluck, now that you've got a new PS3 you'll have to get Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition to break it in! ;)

Not bad, kids just finished lunch. Seth tells me he wants to "Allo Dirk", so we may have to call you in 5-10 minutes...

Heh. The woman and I do that on FB. :D

Later this year (August or later) I'll be sinking $600 or more in to either a laptop or a portable blu-ray player.

If you can't tell that I'm a videophile by now, you're clueless. ;)

Love sports..... Hate watching it on TV.
Would rather be there in person.

That being said I had to watch the SAINTSWin.

I always watch some of the Olympics.

I can and usually do watch Kickboxing, Boxing, PKA, and MMA.

I do not consider Wraslin' sports and watch every so often. The last couple of PPV's work paid for them for me so that I would call in if there was a problem. I have a good buddy/gaming friend who used to be a no-name Pro wrestler back in the late 80's early 90's. Only person I know personally who can say he got his ass kicked on live TV by the Road Warriors.

Its snowing post!

Posted pics of the snow to prove it! I must say though....I hate driving in it. :D

Just saw them. Feel the rest of our pain now? ;)

Flash, he can get what ever game he wants with his credit, but I can tell you I won;t really enjoy watching or playing Fallout. I was hoping he would get Dragon Age.

Urizen wrote:

Seriously, driving was scary. Its sticking to the roads pretty good and all you can see is snow comming at you, from every angle. I have never driven in such conditions!

Heh. Riley probably hasn't seen this much snow before. How about your other two?

I don't think I went above 40 all teh way home. And slower where I could. :\

Urizen wrote:

Honestly it hasn't snowed like this since I was like 10. Kellen has seen snow 3 times (including today). Arden 2 and this is Riley's first snow. And man is it good packing snow. I hope hubby takes them out to play in it some in teh morn. :)

It's definitely a lot of snow as of late; no doubt. It's been since December 2004 when we've gotten dumped this much ... but at least we haven't lost power. <crossing fingers>

While you get a little more shut eye before you need to bust out the caffeinated coffee, I'm sure. :P

I have to work in the morning or I would take them out. It may melt before I get home. But I am having hubby drive me to work in the morning. I really didn't like it!

EDIT: Ugh, open in the morn for TotP. :P
