Exactly. I have several friends who define themselves generally as Pagan, but when I talk to them one is a Neo-Druid, on follows Paiute Pantheonism, another is a Nordic Pantheonist, and another is a self-described Warlock. I also discovered that pagens don't like haveing devil worshipers lumped in with them because "they are just anti-Christians."

Oh yeah, the Salem Witch Trials are so worthy of comparison to the Holocaust.
Glad to see academic malpractice has made its way out into the wider world.
If he wanted to draw the analogy, the Inquisition would have been better, although still not the same when all is said and done.

I didn't say it was an excuse. I was just trying to tell you why he feels the way he does. Damn David. Don't be so irritable.

Sorry, lack of sleep does that to me.

So I end up going to the wrong doctor's office and when I get to the right place, ten minutes after I was scheduled for they tell me, "We already put you down as a no show. Could you come back at 2:15 when we have an openning?" So I am going back at 2:15 and if thy don't see me right away I'll be pretty pissed off.

Is David around? Or some other 4e insider? I have a question.
Speak grasshopper.

The best source of info is, I'm afraid, probably not avalible to you. There was a full length article on her in Dungeon 171. Beyond that there isn't much written about her. She is the patron of the Shadar-Kai and will be detailed much more if they ever do a Shadowfell book. The adventure "Death's Reach" has an encounter with her, but not much detail.

Is Death's Reach a module? I guess if I found it in the store, it'd be shrink-wrapped, anyway.

I stuck my question in the edit above. Also, CH if you're around, feel free to weigh-in.
To add to what David said, there is also some additional bits of information about her in other published sources.
The Manual of the Planes has some information about her in its section on the Shadowfell, where she resides. I believe either Primal Power or Divine Power has some sidebars that deal with the Divine War, and get into how she attained godhood when the previous god of death was overthrown. If I get a chance this evening, I will see if I can scrounge up some page numbers.

Goooooooooooood afternoon.
What'd I miss?
Well, Alicia was determined to confront Amy over her lies about Fernando. Meanwhile, Eric, tired of being judged for the love he shared with a muskrat, decided to start a national campaign to bring attention to his plight. Across town, however, the vile Dr. Leskiw was completing the construction of his latest deadly invention - the Cyberpenguin, designed to...no wait! That's my soap opera.

Did the occurrence hurt, Moorluck?
David,[edit: and thanks, CH!] I found some people blogging about the Raven Queen, so that gives me some info. I had an inspiration and I'm trying to see if the material is there to develop it. I like having some planar locations common to different settings we game in, and it seems like folks agree that Ravenloft, along with the City of Brass, should be one of those locations (although, one guy doesn't want RL touching his home world, which is okay.) In coming up with an in-world explanation for Ravenloft, I made the mental connection that one of the few 4e ideas that really appealed to me was the new figure of the Raven Queen. I was looking at my planar and deity notes, and there's no real place for another deity or major fiend, for that matter, in the legendarium. Then I thought, what if the demi-plane had been created by the death of the goddess of death? Maybe she even has some shadow existence as a vestige...
Here's a potential explanation for the tearing of planes and the creation of the demi-plane, the raven association, the forgetting of the RQ's name, and perhaps even the nature of the mists.

Is it just me or when everytime I see the name if this particular deity, I think Huge Ass and chuckle to myself maniacally that would rival Beavis and Butthead?
