I'm more of a November 5, 1605 kind of a guy.

Ayup, and trying not to get too mad at the boy for taking his sweet ass time. And arguing with me over it. Honestly, its just 15 words. All he has to do is write them 5 times each.

I remember those days. It would take my son an entire Saturday of doing nothing else but complaining and procrastinating on his homework. He never realized that if he just took 30 minutes to do it, he could have all the free time in the world afterwards. Grr.

Taig, you'll let me know if I need to see something. You're just that good.

I take it Battlefeld Earth is as bad as everyone makes it out to be? I've been avoiding it for so long.
Speaking of movies, I saw Wolverine, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Ghost Rider this weekend and surprisingly, Wolverine was the only one I didn't like too much. Thoughts?

You liked Ghost Rider?!?!?!!!

I liked Ghost Rider, the little bit of the movie you actually got to see GR anyway. The rest was ruined by the worst possible actor to play Johnny Blaze, a 40 yr old has been playing a mid 20's icon. Oh well, it's not as bad as Mel Gibson playing William Wallace. :/

But yeah there are other characters that Nick could play. Like the old fart saying the world is coming to an end.

It wasn't Kyle I hated, it was pathos by dead girlfriend in the refrigerator I hated.

June 17 2011.
Thanks! I think Mac will have geekgasms over this. :P

I already knew about it and am NOT looking forward to it. Ryan should have been the Flash, not GL.

But, I'll be in line on opening day to see it. Damn my GL Fanboyness.

IDK I really don't see him as the Barry Allen type. Maybe Wally West.
Ryan wants to be Wally. He wanted to do Flash more than GL.

I had heard that Ryan wanted to be Wally West Flash, and almost with they had chosen him for that instead of GL. Although I think he will do well as Hal Jordan, I would've preferred to maybe see Nathan Fillion as GL. There was even a (fan-made I think) trailer showing Fillion in that role.

But, hey! Turnabout is fairplay. Maybe Fillion would make a good Barry Allen.

Nathan Fillion...

Finally got kid to bed. We're having some trouble getting through the end of the book since he has a real problem sitting still and even more so when the story gets exciting. Sigh. And had to help him pull his other front tooth since it was dangling by a thread and I didn't want him to choke on it in his sleep.

Sigh. So now I'm caught up, I'm thinking I'll go watch some Castle. That always cheers me up. :)

I have always been a fan of Hal, Alan, and John. Jade was pretty cool when she was a Green Lantern. Kyle was alright and Guy is fun, but he gets on my nerves after awhile. However, this and this were my favorite Lanterns of all.

What about G'Nort?

He's certainly one of my favorites. Underused and misunderstood, methinks, especially considering the sense of humor(or lack thereof) of many writers in the industry.

Yay! There's some love. I loved Giffen's portrayal of him in JLI.
