So, in the back of the Bestiary, there are several monsters listed as possible cohorts attainable from the Leadership feat. This is awesome. Lots of the guys in my group are getting griffons. One guy wants a flying mount, but doesn't want a griffon or pegasus. He wants a dracolisk (half-dragon basilisk). What would the effective level of that be for the purposes of Leadership? We are tentatively ruling that a medium dracolisk is ECL 9 and that adding the giant template to it (making it large, so he can ride it) would take it to ECL 10. What do you think?
