After a brief discussion the party agrees to admit Balator to the group changing the name from team ARU to team ABRU.
Any other actions prior to returning to the caves?
Otherwise:
The party returns to the dank caves through the phase door. Not much has changed in the few days that passed since your last visit and everything is quiet and still as you make your way back to the room with the desiccated bodies.
The strange light that you had noticed before emanating from the NE tunnel is even stronger and fills more of the underground network of caves. The air is filled with a stifling sense of latent malignancy and hatred.

Balator leads the party down a long (250' or so) tunnel that twists and turns. With each step the air becomes a little bit more heavy, each breath seems harder to draw in, and the feeling of malevolent watching gets stronger.
Finally, the tunnel ends opening up into a medium sized cave. In the center of the cave is a multi-colored....thing. Your eyes can't quite decipher what they are seeing but your mind processes the images as a blobish-ooze that fluxes in muted, sickly, colors like some type of rainbow you would imagine seeing in the darkest layers of the Abyss.
As you stare at the thing in mind-numbed horror it slurps towards you: pseudopods of rotten color pour out in chaotic fashion, moving much faster than the laws of nature would dictate for anything that large.

This ability functions as smite evil, except that the paladin gains no benefit on attack or damage rolls against her target. Instead, any attacks the target makes against allies within 10 feet of the paladin deal half damage. Attacks against the paladin deal full damage, but the paladin gains a deflection bonus to her AC equal to her Charisma bonus (if any) against attacks made by the target of the smite. As with smite evil, if the paladin targets a creature that is not evil, her bastion of good ability is wasted with no effect.

No sweat on the sequence, just wanted to get us back on track to avoid confusion.
Your AC for these attacks is touch so mage armor doesn't help you; it would just be DEX/Dodge/Deflect/size etc.
I show you being hit twice in the first round for 54 points (to hits and failed save) once in round 2 for 23, but 1/2 due to Uuranx's ability so 11 more for -65.
Also, while I'm doing the math Balator was hit twice in round 2 for 58, but 1/2 from Uuranx so 29?
In round 3 Alamin was hit twice and Uuranx once (27 points) and Balator once (24 but 12 from Uuranx).

Carrion Crown CAW |
The thing appears to heal as the waves of ill-coloured light agony wash over the party.
Alamin provides some meager healing, and Randtam survives and is able to jump away from danger. Uuranx lands a single blow while Balator is more effective with his elvish blade landing three.
Looking refreshed, the creature slings its deadly pseudopods at the party and its summoned allies:
