$$$$
I hate to say it, but I don't even look at the new products pages anymore. There's just so much stuff! And my little group hasn't even digested the rules in the APG never mind the millionty other books that have come out since then.
The Black Goblin and I bought everything we could get our hands on for about a year. I fully admit that I suffer from collector's completeitis. We amassed about two years worth of stuff, we started playing Carrion Crown--and now I don't even care what Paizo's putting out anymore. :(
Although I did flip through the first half of the Ruby Phoenix module and it looked like fun.
I . . . haven't looked at the Store blog in months. And I think my last purchase was for my brother's birthday. The only product I'm especially interested in acquiring is Feast of Ravenmoor.
I just don't have time or money for reading setting info right now. If I do go to PaizoCon I'll probably be the guy who doesn't know even the most basic things about the setting.
Yeah, I have so much stuff still to read and play through. And homebrews are increasingly tempting. Maybe when I a) have a job, b) am not overwhelmed by schoolwork, live in my own place, and/or c) lose interest in Homestuck.
I pretty much only use the forums to check this thread now :/
Media I guess? Small Gods is pretty good. Just Pratchett's usual high level of quality. Romantically Apocalyptic, a webcomic, is fairly compelling and has a unique brand of humour. Avatar the Last Airbender has heavily influenced my view of character archetypes and a lot of things. And I continue to be entertained by Homestuck music. (Turns out the comic continues after the DotA.)
This one webcomic poll has finally turned bitter - in the last round, people accused Tarol Hunt of making a rape joke. So that was a bit interesting.
I joined a Skype Pathfinder game in a homebrew with Greyhawk deities - except about half the gods are dead and kobolds and hobgoblins are much more prominent and Garl Glittergold and Kurtulmak have made their peace. Got attacked by a couple ghouls on our way to the crypt of some mages that contributed to the death of said gods.
Also did a bit of planting today - potatoes, peas, and tomatoes.
also I keep seeing really boring conversations about doomed timelines

Jeff Bridges Movies!!!
True Grit Got this DVD for Christmas and finally watched it again. Awesome! Imho, much better than the original. Solid A.
Tideland I don't have a grade for this movie because I haven't really digested it. My friend suggested "creepy and disturbing," but that's probably true of most of Gilliam's films.

Well, after a whole year, the Leafar thread is kaput.
:(
What else am I going to do with my empty, meaningless life?
WHAT!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
;_;
Where are my awesome rants going to go now? Where will I taunt Leafar and his crew? WHERE GARY?* WHERE?

Hee hee!
I'm such a useless burner. We were supposed to play last night, but I never made the calls! Bad, stoner, bad!
In revenge, the Black Goblin stayed up 'til 2 in the morning badly playing the banjo along with indie folk youtube videos and didn't wake up for the union meeting.
I don't feel like going to Boston alone, so instead I'm going to play Heroes (I think) which I have never played before.
My life has been a mess since the Church of Leafar was locked.

Spirited Away is pretty good for an anime. I first saw it in 2007 when I had an ear infection, so I could barely hear the words and just sort of sat confused through the entire movie. It was a very dreamlike experience and nothing like when I just watched it again tonight.
ehhhhhhhh other than that my life has been peacefully bland
well, not "other than" because watching a movie doesn't really change your life generally
Oh! I started up my old "Burnt Offerings" game. The PCs were losing in a battle with Ripnugget, but that was months ago and I didn't want to f#+* around with figuring out hp and such so I said that they woke up in prison with a human and a bugbear guarding them. The bugbear was all YOOOOOOO and didn't like one of the PCs' tone (a hobgoblin alchemist named Drahdic), so he started abusing him. Drahdic drew a concealed wand and shocked the bugbear (cleverly not catching the iron bars in the electric nimbus), who then started beating him with his flail. The half-elf druid, Ilyun, woke up and summoned a swarm (???), which proceeded to attack the bugbear. The human pretty much stayed out of the fight, warning Bruthazmus, the bugbear, not to kill the sacrifices. But then Bruthazmus knocked Drahdic unconscious and the swarm moved over his prone form. The human, tired of this bullshit, drew his sword and missed. As he and Bruthazmus fought, Ilyun tried to dismiss the swarm and healed Drahdic a bit, but he was dangerously approaching death.
Bruthazmus knocked the human unconscious, and the swarm disappeared. Ilyun called for help, and four goblins came into the room and told Bruthazmus that he was "needed elsewhere" (aka the bedroom) (I don't know I had to save the characters right? right?) (ehh this whole encounter was screwy but getting out of prison is supposed to be hard but it wasn't entirely their fault they were in there in the first place).
Ilyun stabilised Drahdic and the human with a spell and summoned a mite, which took the human's keys and released her before disappearing. She took a potion from Drahdic's belt, forced it down his throat, and then took another potion from the human's pockets and also gave it to Drahdic.
Drahdic woke up and they found their gear in another room. I'm thinking of letting them rest without event for a day, but I'll have to come up with a rationale for it.
Either that or they can try to escape via the tentamort's lair.
To sum up: I'm pretty rusty with RotL.

Ow!
Let's see, if raising the coffee cup to my lips makes the muscles behind my right shoulder scream in pain, I wonder what repeated lifting of 50-lb. boxes of shoes will do?
I'm not going to work! I wish I had made this decision before I drank a pot of coffee...
Do you get HEALTH CARE?
Because that's certainly something that health care should be spent on.or I dunno you could just sleep a lot

Life is grand!
Legalize it!
That is all, carry on.
Maybe but those were all singular "slogan" type announcements.
Despite the proximity, there were no implicit connections between statements #2 & #3.
Sorry for the confusion.
p.s.: Goblins Rule!!!

It's not bard hate. I'm not going to start a thread about them or anything. It's just me and Gruumash. are starting a two-man party tomorrow, and I don't know if The Crimson Masque will hold his own.
In completely other news, and two years too late, I just found out that Harvey Pekar is dead.
:(

(my friend and I spammed the skypeople chat with "FOUR-TWENTY SMOKE WEE DEVERY DAY")
(see the irony is that I'm a complete prude and that he's the complete opposite but neither of us have ever smoked a joint)
Also Flynn lived to tell the bardic tale.
#totes #trufaxx #legit
On a two-person team, a bard's strength is in his diplomatic skills and versatility.
So hopefully you'll not have an undead catacomb tomb raider bash-and-slash beatdown dungeon crawler old-school game.

Every day is 4/20!! (20/4? what are you, European?)
Yesterday was all gaming-all day. My wonderful bard, The Crimson Masque, was, indeed, quite a face character and was doing quite awesomely until the Evil Dungeon Monkey had us throw down with: clockwork zombies. Well, actually, he was okay support to The Mad Badger, until one of the zombies, on some strange whim, decided to provoke attacks of opportunity from the MB and punch me in the face!
The Crimson Masque, unfortunatley, has a glass jaw and went out like a light.
Then, back home to run Carrion Crown which we haven't done in quite a while. Tramora started a fight with some inebriated college students, then he and Dok went home with their women. I think there might have been a giant slug and some manticores in there, somewhere, I don't remember.
