Yeah, OTD's been a bit slow, lately. :(
I think after a million and a half political arguments, people are less and less willing to see the same half-dozen posters pull out their regular shtick.
Anyway, at least there's always Leafar!
hopefully it'll pick up around paizocon
and the Thread of Heretic-beatdowns is indeed one of the few remaining active threads
why can't they obey his wishes
wait how do you obey wishes

I don't usually do cutesy and human interest, but this is pretty heehee!-rific.
Hmm. I guess the whole thing's not there anymore. Well, you can look around.

Pretty funny!
Also, what's wrong, Kelsey? Bad day?

Doodlebug Anklebiter |

Also, not too much epicness from the last game.
Our group is terrible at hand-waving time passing (for example, we seem to spend about ten minutes on every meal the party prepares) and they are already two levels higher than the beginning of the The Trial of the Beast.
So, Lodi Carene, halfling summoner, tried to do some sneaking, got caught and ended up assaulting a squadron of the ____guard. He ended up in the stockades. Father Varnalium, priest of Pharasma, and Avianna Silverplume, secret Ustalavan agent, had to go get members of their respective bureaucracies to intervene on his behalf--only to find out that Dok, half-orc wizard, busted him out through magic!
So that was a nightmare (for me, anyway) of party members not doing what the DM expected them to. At least we got in the meeting of the Crooked Kin (with Freaks playing in the background) and the fight with the phase spider (which I've always thought was a stupid monster).
Maybe they'll get to Lepidstadt next game.

Ambrosia Slaad |

And how are you today, ex-Comrade Slaad?
Actually, come to think of it, I don't know anything about you. What's your favorite color?
Today's been partially overcast, with moderate gusts of anxiety out of the N/NW.
I am an 80 proof patrón riddle, wrapped in a lime enigma, served in a mysteriously chilled glass with cliché encrusted on the rim. And I like violet-purple.
What do you do for fun?
Sleep, read, slack off on the Internet, and occasionally tinker on RPG stuff. That's about all I can afford most days.
What's your favorite book?
Movie?
Singer?
Food?
Do you find goblins attractive?
I'm not sure I have set-in-stone favorites. I'm revisiting my Vonnegut and Twain books right now.
Singers/bands/music are dangerous, as I get earworms very easily, but I tend toward 90s alt/progressive/grunge rock and 60s/70s hard rock.
I tend to prefer simple classic foods, like pizza and hamburgers, but I'll enjoy Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Italian, American barbecue... pretty much anything, especially if I can cook it myself. Except okra, licorice, or shredded coconut: EWWWW!
Goblins can certainly be attractive, but I only seem to have eyes for girl ones. Or maybe a boy like Andrej Pejic (who sadly probably only likes boys).
---
Turnabout is fair play, oh Doodlebug (and Mama Kelsey and Gark too if so inclined)... what about you?

[Sigh] Story of my life. But there are, happily, many female goblins they just don't seem to post here.
I'll answer the other questions later.

Quick answers before I run out the door and (hopefully) get my baby up to speed for inspection:
I always answer that my favorite book is Journey to the End of the Night by Louis-Ferdinand Celine. I believe I first heard of him through reading Vonnegut. Leon Trotsky was also a fan, even though Celine became a Nazi (it doesn't show at all in the novel).
My favorite movie is The Big Lebowski, although close runners-up include Rushmore, The Apartment and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
I said singer, but my favorite band of all-time, even if I go years without listening to them, is The Beatles. What can I say, my mother was a Beatlemaniac and I was breast-fed to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (even though these days I prefer Revolver and Rubber Soul.
My favorite food is also pizza and hamburgers. It's really too bad you play for the other team...

Comrade Anklebiter |

And, of course, my favorite color is: RED!
For the blood of our fallen brothers and sisters.
Vive le Galt!

No go. :(
I didn't mention it before, but I finally got tagged by the fuzz (after 4 months!), so, I'm afraid I'm stuck in the house--at least until the sun goes down! Thank god there's always beer and trolling!
But, seriously, man, do I miss Boston. $60/month for a T pass certainly beats paying for gas and auto parts--and since I never got my driver's license until I was 32ish, I am completely at the mercy of unscrupulous mechanics--what the f+%# is a window regulator?!?

One of the lesbians who wouldn't go out with me at least put me in a comic book! (Bearded dude on the couch)
I was a lot heavier before I started doing manual work for a living. Also, she turned me into a musician, which is cool.
Years later, I heard through the grapevine that she had a boyfriend.
*@#!*&!

I'm not sure how I would react if a facsimile / caricature of myself was included in a piece by Creepy Loser Productions.
As for the slaad, it's been a running joke for some time that she's indeed a figment of my subconsciousness. She taps into a lot of things and shares out loud that I've kept unspoken other in the banal depths of what's left of my sanity. Call it an admiration, really. :)
Or she's like Freddy Krueger and feasts upon my dream cycles.

Here it is. Frau Barr's putting the whole series up on the web page by page, totally worth reading.

A momma phase spider should carry her babies on her back. Awwwwwww, how cute!

I just want to hug them
