Any gamers interested in this area of starting a group?
I hail from the (Central) Sword Coast. I have a valiant steed (crappy car) so I can get to the New Castle with minimal Random Monster's to dispatch.
Ahem...enough of that: I play v3.5, 4e and other d20 games. I've dabbled in a little WoD also. I'm a player/DM, so we'd be covered for a DM.

I generally DM online games, though I'd love a chance to actually play! But I can probably DM if need be, especially if you'd want to play one of the Paizo Adventure Paths. Mostly I play Pathfinder nowadays but I used to play 3.5e and I've played 4e before (not really my thing), though I'm open to just about any system. My friend would also probably be interested in playing.
There's some kind of gamer club type thing called the Every Gamer's Guild (or something similar) in Newcastle, you might want to look into that too.

I would be nominally interested, but not on a regular basis.
I already have my regular gaming group and my family life wouldn't permit me another regular outing (hence the quarterly get togethers in Sydney). I could probably swing one additional outing every couple of months but that would be my limit, sorry.

Hi, I hail from Maitland (a little way from Newcastle), and was wondering if this group got up and running, and if so, whether you were still looking for players.
I was an avid gamer a couple of years ago, however, uni and work got the better of things, and so my hobby fell by the wayside. Now that I've finished my degree and am doing Honours in creative writing come the new year, my uni workload has decreased somewhat, and I'm looking at getting back into gaming a bit.
Have had a fair bit of DM experience at a local gaming store (since shut down), and would be more than happy to run one-shot games etc if there is already a long-term game underway.
