And it's now listed for pre-order at Barnes & Noble.com as well!
In addition, B&N.com also already has our January 2010 release - Luven Lightfinger's Gear & Treasure Shop - listed for pre-order!
I preordered this book from Barnes and Noble last week and just received a notice from them that my order is cancelled because they cannot fulfill it.

You'll need to contact B&N about that and ask them why. I don't know why they can't fulfill it.
You can always preorder it through IPR (which has not canceled any of the preorders through them for the book).

I hope so. I've been taking part in the open playtest of the Advanced Player's Guide as well so there may be some comparison by me of the two types of witches. In the one campaign I was planning I was working out Witch as a Sorcerer bloodline though...

I assume you are asking about Luven Lightfinger's Gear & Treasure Shop? It will be a catalog of new gear, armor, weapons, alchemical items, clothing, and magic items. We'll be doing an official (more detailed) announcement on it around the time PoP is released in a couple of weeks.
Ah! Ah! Will it be anything like Aurora's Whole Realms Catalogue? That was the greatest book ever written.
PoP also sounds very interesting though.

I think folks will like our Witch class. She's heavily rooted in real-world mythology & folklore, as well as classic fantasy witches.

That particular book was a major influence in how we wanted to present LLG&TS, though it will be a standard size RPG book instead of digest size as Aurora's was. It will also include the standard tables for quickly finding the items.
PoP also sounds very interesting though.
We believe folks will enjoy what they find in PoP, and hope you will as well.

Thanks I hope so.

The sale date isn't until November 27, so you probably won't get it that quickly... But you might!

Now available in the Paizo.com store!
Wha?! I also saw it at RPGNow and it says it's over 100 megs. Why is it so giant? That's the biggest PDF I've ever seen...or is that a total for multiple download options?

It was the cover art. Wasn't properly resampled before saving the PDF. We'll be changing that and uploading new files...

As long as I get it in a timely manner I'm fine, I'm already through to the bestiary in the latest Pathfinder AP so I need another hit of book to keep the fire going within. Although granted if Nick Logue is done with Razor Coast and ready to ship the Pathfinder version soon I'll be as happy as the clam Pele sits on.

Ah, good! My connection is so slow that I have to avoid really big files.

Which hopefully means the pre-order I had paid for has been shipped.

If you have the time and the inclination a review would be helpful. In particular I'd like to know how the two new witches compare to each other.
I plan to eventually review it, least that is my plan. But will see.
But to this question. I like both witches same as the Green Ronin one. I thought hexs was very interesting with the Paizo one. So I will hit a few key points below with personal comments.
They both have their own spell lists.
The 4 winds version is like a Sorc in that they are limited to the number of spells they can know and can cast like a Sorc, any of their known spells.
Skills, weapons, armor are all pretty similar.
The 4 winds version has a familiar but it is on par with the base Wizard one.
Now for a few things that only the 4 winds one has.
Broom - I am not sure how to describe it. They basically can do a number of special things with their broom depending on level. I suppose it fits but the fluff at points made picturing it a bit odd. Like sweeping out a dwelling that makes entrances have protection on them.
Circle Magic - This one I didn't care for, i think it had more potential for a much bigger variety. As it is, it is a variation of protection from Good/Evil etc circle spells
Traditions - similar in concept to the Sorc bloodlines. Which where interesting and for the most part kinda templates for playing different kinds of witches. Which I liked, I do wish their would have been a few more though, currently there is four. Black Magic, Healer, Protector and Soothsayer. But I understand space is a concern for any book.
Rites - This i think was the best thing they added. I really liked the idea of rites. I would have liked them to have expanded on it and not tied all of them to Traditions. The tradition ones all seem fairly well done though. But it would have been nice if they could learn some general ones as they level up and then had their tradition ones too.
I think it stands up well to the Paizo and Green Ronin witches. There is certain things about each of the three that I really like and typically at least one or two things of each I don't care for. Plus a couple I think they just could have done so much more with.
Since they cast differently like a Sorc and are different enough, I think one could easily use both in a campaign. Over all it seems pretty well balanced.
As a side note I have not play tested it yet so this is all off of me just reading it and thinking about it.
Anyways hope that helps those that are curious and that 4 wind doesn't mind the information I am posting about the class.

I am thinking I should have ordered this through Lulu or Paizo itself. I don't even know if IPR shipped it yet. I checked my account and all it really says is that they got the money with a tracking number of pop?
You'll have to e-mail IPR about that. We have no influence on their shipping department. I do hope you get it soon, though.

Thank you, I just want to read it. I'm despereate enough for material that I bought and am now reading the campaign setting HC. The country of Galt scares me. But I really like the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, go figure?

I can't get this until after Christmas, in case it is one of my presents. Could you give a prview of the elemental wizard. My favorite class of wizards in 2e were the elementalists.
We don't have a specific preview of the elementalist, but I can tell you that your character must still be a wizard as per the core rulebook, but instead of specializing in one of the schools of magic, the character specializes in one of the four base elements (air, earth, fire, water), and we include a spell list broken down by the elements, complete with some new spells for the elementalist.

I received Paths of Power, The Book of Arcane Magic, and The Book of Divine Magic in the mail the other day. While I haven't had the time to read through all of them yet (the end of term is a busy time for an academic), I must say I am quite pleased with what I see. So far I've primarily read bits of Paths of Power and only skimmed the other two. I love how the elemental wizard was handled. The witch looks pretty good, and is different enough from the Paizo playtest witch that both definitely have room in a campaign. The NPC classes are flavorful.
Since I won't have time to read them in detail for a while, I at least wanted to say that I'm very happy with what I've seen so far.
