Annie: readies shield, casts Charm on Vark
Vark: successfully saves, shouts "Kill them all!" and hurries down the stairs to attack Annie, drawing his rapier on the way(19+7=27(threatens but doesn't confirm a critical) for 2 damage.
Bryson: Moves to A,4 and shoots an icicle at -C,0, to deal 7 damage to the flatfooted pirate

Dgrim: arrives on deck and successfully intimidates pirate lady at -C,-11.
Ghirrak: maintains grapple and deals another 7 points of damage(pirate goes limp)

Vark watched the armored Dwarf drop onto the deck and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "Yer tavern hussy can pray to as many gods as she likes, it won't save ye, Dwarf. Ketrana, take the wench! The ground-lubber's mine!" Despite the bravado, beads of sweat were forming on his forehead and the sound of Annie's prayer brought fear to his eyes.

Spoiler:
Feinting is strictly used on an opponent when you have a melee weapon(and is a standard action). I think what you're trying to do is more akin to the check required to make a distraction so you can hide...although with the light spell, definitely not going to help you hide. Best I can do is allow a circumstance penalty to the pirates, sort of like you'd dazzled them.

Round 6(In progress):

Dgrim: attacks Vark and hits for 6

You got Vark, which isn't bad for a weapons that takes a round to reload.

Oops sorry about it, I really have a lot to learn, and at least this is what I'll try to do... I'm still unable to find where it is written on the corebook (I didn't find it in the cap 5 (when describing the feat) nor in cap 8 (during the special attack description).

However then just on round 5 Sneaky should be able to use the double attack, while in round 3 and 4, when the rogue moved before, please refer to the first rolled attacks for Sneaky. I'll use +4 instead of +2 on rolls to hit from now on when I'll move and attack.
I adopted -2 penalties because I'm using light weapons, I hope this is right...

Haven't quite caught up with the various posts, but we should be ready for another round. A lot of misses this round, and based on the averages so far, I expect the pirates to do as badly. If you haven't already figured out what you're going to do for the next round, make some rolls and take advantage of the crew's poor circumstances--one greased, one unconscious, another badly wounded by Bryson, another just now coming out of a daze. Vark's been doing a little too well to lose his courage just yet, but his thugs are quickly losing morale.

The coordinates are mostly correct, but for the pirates might be outdated. You should refer to the most recent map at: http://s651.photobucket.com/albums/uu238/raduloket/.

And if you don't move during your turn, you're free to make a full attack(using both weapons). If you're flanking with someone, you can apply sneak attack to both attacks. Attack+Move=full round. Attack+Attack=full round. At higher levels, you'll have more than two attacks, but you still won't be able to move the same round you attack.

After Dgrim leaves a nasty gash in Vark's chest, a bolt of lightning inexplicably strikes him. The pirate's teeth chatter and he casts an eye toward the rest of his crew. One falls by the druid's sword, another by the half-orc's fist. He withdraws from Dgrim, careful to avoid an attack as he backs slowly up the steps. The panic in his eyes in unmistakable. "Burn them!" he shouts. "Burn everything!" Vark is as far aft as he can move, perched on the edge of the railing.

The woman with the crossbow throws it aside and leaps overboard. The lady pirate downwind of Annie drops her sword and raises her hands in surrender, stealing furtive glances at the cargo grate.

Regardless of anyone else's action, Vark leaps(or falls, if wounded at range) off the ship in the following round. Consider yourselves out of combat and make perception checks as you evaluate the scene after Vark jumps ship.

Sorry about that, Annie. I had you moved on my map but I didn't send the update to photobucket in time for Bryson to catch it. All future combats will use a fluid initiative system since rigidly arranging everyone's actions each round didn't make things any less confusing.

Annie continued her quick walk toward the cargo grate in the floor of the deck as she turned from her study of the pirate woman. Despite her protest of not saying anything, Annie had read some information from her stance and demeanor. "There's someone below! That's who Vark was giving orders to burn the ship to!" she cried.

She reached the grate and crouched quickly, muttering another plea to Cayden Cailean. Where she touched it the grate flared to light and she looked down intently, searching for a sign of sabateurs. "Also, I'm concerned Vark may have removed the item we require for the lady, if he's willing to burn the ship." Annie mentioned as she peered below. "If possible, we should fish him out of the water."

With the dancing light in place(Sorry about that, I should have put a spoiler up for Jon as well...feel free to cast something else if you'd like), a strange scene is revealed. Dozens of cages are piled about the cabin, most containing small, terrified animals. A bloody body, its hand still clutching a dying torch, lay between the animal cages while a spider-like creature gnaws on the corpse's face. It pauses to focus its many eyes on the people looking down at it, then scrambles to one of the cages, breaking open the flimsy bamboo bars and feasting on the tiny capuchin monkey within.

Annie jumped back with a startled squeak and eyed the crossbow the surrendering pirate had dropped to the deck of the ship. She walked back toward the pirate, keeping her rapier out, and kicked the crossbow away from the woman and behind Annie herself a few feet.

"I'm going to be needing your quarrel." She tried as best she could to hide the slight tremble in her voice. That spidery thing was big! That man's face had been...horrible to behold. She swallowed. "I don't know if you brought the monster down there and thought your friend could handle it, or if it comes from someplace else, but the creature that ate your buddy down there needs killing, and I'd prefer not doing it up close and personal like." Annie kept her eyes on the woman in front of her, trying to hold herself ready for an unexpected attack.

"Vark!" she called out as she waited, the tip of her rapier barely wavering before the surrendered pirate, "I don't know that you want to stay in the water! I think bleeding into the ocean while black monsters lurk about is fair foolish, even for one as thick as you!"

She hoped her comrades were keeping him from getting too far away. If he had the ring, what they'd done here was still of no use to Lavinia.

No knowledge(nature), though I have Knowledge(local) if that might somehow have a bearing (doubtful). Annie knows it's big, and ugly and it eats people's faces. Good enough reason to stay away if you don't need to venture down there just yet.

Bryson's eyes grow wide as he listens to the sounds coming from the hold. He sprints to the nearest set of stairs leading down so that he can stop this atrocity from continuing. On seeing the creature clearly in the light of the Dancing Light, Spinnaker Jon rears back.
"Well blow me down! Tough luck about the Monster belowdecks, looks like we leave this one to the Harbor Patrol..."
Then he sees Bryson Deepwinter run below to confront it.
"Doh! Allright, those what can shoot from a distance with me at the deck grate! We'll give him what support we can from above! Those who can engage close up, get down and see if you can distract it! Ready? Three, two, one go!"
Spinnaker Jon takes careful aim through the deck grate at the moster below.
