I can't help but wonder what a Keegan is. Is it a verb, is James doing it. Perhaps Kee is like the karate Kee, and gan is like, um, gan. At least Ja mes is a good french name (or is it).
I'll have to keep wondering about this one too.

I can explain. I'm not entirely sure about Gaelic, but I think Keegan means "little fire".
James is simply the formal term for Jim, Jimmy and Jimbo.
Of course, that could simply be yet another clever obfuscation meant to hide the fact that a Keegan is a a species subhuman worm-baby sent to Earth to gather the necessary resources to save its home planet. But much like in that David Bowie movie, it grew complacent and started to enjoy the finer things in life on Earth, forgetting about its planet's erstwhile plight.
I guess we'll never know the truth.
