This is more of an attempt to see if there are other Greek gamers out there, preferably in Athens. Whether it will lead to a game or not is anybody's guess really...

Do you know about Espairos? There is a gaming group who maintain an apartment in Exarchia for hosting games. It has a yearly membership which pays the rent on the place, but you can stop by and check it out on open Fridays. I think they are mostly into white wolf games, Dark Heresy, and maybe Shadowrun right now, but they also have board game nights.
You do not live all that far from me actually... well, as far as distances in Athens go anyway. Not to mention a good friend of mine -also a roleplayer- used to live in Exarchia, although he is currently in Germany...
I know of Espairos and have passed by the place's door a few times in fact. Always wondered what it is exactly to be honest. Heh...

You have no idea how much trouble that friend I mentioned and I went through a couple of years ago to find just three people for a Dragonlance game. And as for finding Greek players with a good enough grasp of English so as to speak it while gaming... err...

lol- ok then. In the absence of English gaming definitely check out Espairos. I think almost no one uses the message boards, but they have a lot of members. They mentioned that on board game night there might be 30+ people there.
btw- you have a favorite game store in Athens worth sharing? I tend to go to the Kaissa in Exarchia by the police station on Kalidromio. But maybe I'm missing out on some hidden gem.

Well, I actually started this thread to see if there are other Greek Pathfinder players out there, or Greek roleplayers in general that frequent the boards here. More out of curiosity and a "getting to know each other" kind of thing. Of course, one never knows, right?

Well, the only other places I know of are another Kaissa and Fantasy Shop, both at 3rd Septemvriou Street, although the latter is more of a Warhammer place rather than D&D. To my eternal shame, it has been quite a while since I have passed by or entered such places since my roleplaying friends have scattered all over the globe -almost literally mind you!- and thus I have nobody to drag me there... Heh!
